Delicious British candy

Kind of expensive but so worth it as a special treat! I found these in the United Kingdom this fall and fell in love with them!

The order arrived as two (2) three packs. In the first pack I opened, the first bar I opened was crushed and melted. I quickly ate what I could and discarded the rest. Curious, I opened the other two bars; one was crushed/melted beyond recognition, and the other, whole. Still curious, I opened the second pack, and was relieved to discover that all three bars* were unscathed. Could be worse. Still, a third of my order was damaged.p.s. the flavor was, well, nothing to write home about.* Update: Turns out I opened the wrong end, because all three of the "unscathed" bars were melted at the bottom. Still edible, but because of that, I never got to share them with friends.

I have tried the chocolate cream, orange and peppermint and all were great. Not horribly expensive. Very hot here in Illinois but no sign of melting or deforming. Great tasting candy.

I’ve loved this chocolate bar for many years. The only drawback is that it arrived in my mailbox when my outside temperature was 103F (39C) needless to say they were melted and not nice in appearance any longer. Shipper needs to include chill packs when temperatures are that high at the final destination. I paid for perfect candy bars (sweets) not lumps of chocolate and green goo! Don’t buy this item in October in The Southwest part of the North American Continent.

Stale tasting; color of the chocolate did not look at all as advertised.

I bought some of these while I was visiting a British exports store about an hour away from where I live and they were delicious, the inside was creamy and fresh. When I bought them off Amazon the inside was hard and unpleasant. The flavor was still fine but knowing how good these can be made me disappointed with what I ended up with when ordering here.
