I am using these battery holders for a radio communications project. I liked that they were exactly as advertised, and they showed up earlier than expected. Amazon must have stocked them at a nearby Fulfillment Center, or something. They showed up on the day after ordering. Hilego products are usually serviceable, well enough made that they work reliably. You can't say that for everything from China.The design is just fine for button top 18650 batteries (which is the advertised spec), but it could have worked for both flat top and button top if the positive electrode had just been a little higher. As it is, I'll have to put a little screw into the positive side to make contact on my flat top batteries. Like I said, Hilego makes it just good enough and plenty cheap enough. How bad is that really.

I used one of these to add an additional 18650 battery in parallel to a solar lantern. It now stays on all night as intended. Not sure why other reviewers had such trouble inserting and removing a battery, they work perfectly. The wires are small, but plenty big enough to power anything under 4 volts.

The wires supplied with these battery holders are very thin. I do not have a wire gauge but they are some of the thinnest I have seen on a battery pack. The net effect is they do not carry much current well. I had an application that could not have drawn more than an amp total and it would not work. When I soldered in my own wires it worked fine. In fact I tried to light a simple LED lamp of about 2 watts. It did light, but the wire became noticeably warm. If you are handy, you can solder on your own wires. If you are not and you need a high current draw, avoid these.

I needed way to mount these 18650 batteries to diy robot. I was pleased that even the flat top versions worked too after you settled them in place. I used small screws to mount holder to device frame. The holder wraps about battery abit thus I feel safe battery not fall out under normal use.

Just wish all my batteries were the same voltage!! Will order some more though! Great battery holders. I've tried all different kind of 18650 battery holders and these are the best I've seen. They are a touch flexible and not too plastic-y where the batteries either don't fit right or extremely difficult to get out. These fit button tops and flat top batteries alike.

Is cheap price, so you can't soldering because plastic is very weak

These are so handy. I’ve used them on headlamps, and many other diy projects.

This is an inexpensive product. The wires are a bit thin for my preference but they do work. There are 2 different versions of the battery that this is for (one is slightly longer) and they both will fit.
