I like the DC model especially for it’s variable power control. It’s small with a mighty punch. Review: Read review carefully. - The one word “CATASTROPHIC”. Absolutely catastrophic. Starting from the fact that I got not the same model as it is in the item description: I got 9012.000 AC when must be 9012.001 DC. When appeared I found the air intake blocked. But it was something that I was ready to accept. But NOISE!!! This noise is unbelievable and that I can’t believe that a solid manufacturer like “Tunze” can agreed to produce.. I tried everything: places, levels - nothing helped. No help or assistance neither from seller, nor from Tunze. Make things short, AVOID for any price. Run away from it. Very disappointed. Very-very disappointed. UPDATE: Well, after 3 moths of use I have to update my review to reflect that fact that now it really works much-much quiet. I have 2 systems and one is big and far enough from the living room so it worked all this time, connected to the second tank, and week after week it was better and better. So, now it took its place back where it has to be and finally works absolutely normally as expected.
