I purchased this microphone not expecting much given the price, but wanted something that picks up my voice more consistently compared to the Shure Lavalier microphone I have been using. Students sometimes complained that my volume changed as I moved around. Different microphone placement didn't fix the problem, so I figured this microphone is cheap enough to test it out. It was an immediate success with students commenting on it being much better than the more expensive Shure microphone. I use it with a Shure wireless pack and it works very well. Having it only a couple of days now, I can't comment on longevity, but it looks like it will do fine if treated carefully (like all of these smaller microphones). In particular, for the price, this is a great microphone and it holds its own even if compared to more expensive options.

Sound pick-up is good and clear. Bendable to shape as desired. Found it to be less comfortable than other models I have used designed for use without the rubber retention band.

Tested the mic with 3 different Shure systems and 1 non-Shure system. Several AV techs tried figuring out why it was not producing audio. Had to return item. It did fit comfortably. I would give them another try but there are too many competitors in the market place and I don’t have time to test companies products after they are shipped. They should be tested prior to shipping them to your customer.

Got this for my pastor to use during his services. Works great for the money, connects right to the high end wireless transmitter the church already had.

Easily positioned and fairly stationary. Just what we needed for a person with a small voice who needs the mic very close to their lips. Average sound quality. Bought several of these for theater show. Inexpensive options when you don't want to spend $400 on a countryman. However, several of these stop working after a few shows but fortunately the return policy was good. Would use again since there inexpensive but I would recommend buying several to make certain that you are covered when they do break. Not certain why they broke, they were very lightly used . Would present as a lot of static such as a loose wire in the cable.
