Leecraft JT-8 Zero Clearance Table Saw Insert for Laguna Fusion owners ...
I purchased a total of 4 of these to use as zero clearance dado inserts on my Laguna fusion table saw. I have 2 of the OEM dado inserts, but these inserts are only 60% of the cost of the OEM (Laguna) inserts and they are a little thicker and heavier. I actually like these inserts better than the OEM inserts.I did not give 5 stars because the hold (at the front) where you insert the lock down thumb screw (on the Laguna table) has not been drilled out and the buyer must drill it out themselves. This was my first experience drilling phenolic and it is not as simple as drilling wood. I chipped up the phenolic on my first insert, due to lack of experience, so let me share some tips with prospective buyers:The hole size that you will need to drill is 15/16" (this matches the OEM hole size for the lock down thumb screw). A Forstner bit works well for this function. You will only be drilling about 2/3 the depth of the throat plate insert (with the 15/16th inch bit).Use a HIGH QUALITY drill bit. I used a Forstner bit from a descent (good but not great) 30 bit set that I purchased from Rockler and it chipped the phenolic surface. I then ordered a Freud PB-0065 15/16 Precision Forstner Bit (from Amazon) and it cut buttery smooth holes in the remaining throat plate inserts.I attempted to drill at 900 RPM on my first attempt and probably burned up my bit, as a result. 300 RPM was the sweet spot.If you get your bit centered and lower it (with the Drill Press turned off) down to the surface, the outside edge of the bit should be 3/16 inch from the edge of the throat plate. This will create a 15/16" hole that precisely matches the hold in the OEM (Laguna) plate. After you have drilled down deep enough (somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 the way through) to allow the head of the thumb screw to recess into the hole, you can then use a 1/4" drill bit to drill out the center of the hole. This allows the threaded portion of the lock down thumb screw to pass through the hole and into the female threads in your Table Saw, while the red plastic (oblong shaped head, of the thumb screw) remains in the recessed 15/16" hole that you drilled. If you have a good Forstner 15/16" drill bit and a drill press that allows you to drill at 300 RPM, then these Dado inserts can be a good deal. If the manufacturer had already pre-drilled the holes out for us then I would have given it 5 stars. Finally, use a mask and try not to breath the fumes. I vacuum suctioned as I drilled and ran an air cleaner. The fumes can be toxic.Hope this was of some help.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT & AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
DANGEROUS PRODUCT & NO SUPPORT. Product fits "Laguna Fusion 1.75hp 10" Table Saw." Not even close. Product is circle, but Fusion opening rectangle. Look at the photos!I don't make dados frequently as I'm an attorney. So, I tried the product, but it wasn't correct. I asked for a refund as I didn't even use it. Hartville support refused a return b/c couple weeks outside return. Inaccurate/dangerous/no help.Definitely don't buy this product if you want it to fit a Laguna Fusion because you can see that I have that table saw and the insert doesn't fit. This makes me question the quality of the product. If they can't get the size right, they clearly lack attention to detail.Additionally, their customer service is definitely lacking. Instead of seeing that Hartville, it chose a $30 sale over customer satisfaction (on a mistake it made), and more importantly, customer safety.Don't buy this product if you have a Laguna Fusion. Further, don't buy from Harville if you expect a good buying (or returning) experience.

Better than I expected.
For Laguna Fusion owners:Update: the lock knob unscrews pretty easily so that when using the dado set, this insert fits just fine. The build quality is very good so I'm changing my review from 2 starts to 4.This insert does not have the cut out for the lock knob that is on the Fusion tablesaw. You will have to drill that hole out before it can even be used. The only reason that I'm not sending these back is because the price is lower than other vendors - I may regret that decision.

Zero cut table saw insert
This fit perfectly in my Jet table saw. The cut with the saw blade was easy. Only issue and only because the material is so hard was extending the cut so the riving knife fit as the blade was elevated. Otherwise this product works very well.

Great product
This is my second order. This is a top quality product that improves on what the tool manufacturer originally provided.

Better than the insert that came with the saw...
PRO: It's heavy enough to not go anywhere, and the adjustment screws worked well.CON: When I raised the blade up through the insert, the surface chipped out pretty bad leaving me with no reference for a precise measurement.

Fits better than the OEM
Excellent quality and fits better than the OEM zero clearance insert. However, I can only award four stars, as the height adjustment screws are Phillilps head screws, and not hex head screws as described in the instruction sheet.
