Strong alcohol taste
I read a lot of reviews before deciding on a vanilla for my cupcakes and frosting. This one had very good reviews so I gave it a try. It lives up to its reputation for being good for baking, if you are okay with your baked good/frosting having a strong taste of alcohol. (I personally don't mind it but I was making these for a surprise party where maybe half the people were sober, so not a great fit.) The frosting did taste like vanilla, with a strong alcohol flavoring. I will be sure to check the ingredients next time! (Alcohol is the first ingredient on this bottle, whereas the McCormick's I use for french toast has it as the last ingredient.)

I mean, the name says it all. This is REALLY good vanilla. I like to bake and the smell and flavor are just delicious.
