We purchased this seat pad quite some time back.. cant recall the exact year now but its been a while. It has lasted quite well but it is now starting to flatten a tad when sat on at the computer all day.The cover is removable for washing which is always a plus.However, the one gripe with this pad is that the elastic, which is sown onto the underside, isn't strong enough and the pad constantly moves around and 'walks' off the chair seat. It can be very dangerous, if you sit down on what you think is the seat but its just the cushion and hence has no support for your rear to sit on, if you don't notice it in good time. I have tried wrapping the elastic several times around a handle on the chair but nothing will keep it in place.Overall, it has helped enormously with the back pain experienced sitting on a very old office chair for far too many hours but it is time now to purchase a new chair.

cushion goes flat very quickly and doesn't retain its shape

I'm thinking that memory foam seat pads are over rated. This isn't bad but it was expensive for the comfort it gives me. I could have picked up a cushion from my local store for a lot less money and had better comfort.It's not bad, it's better than similar items I've had but it still flattens very quickly so I can't use it for prolonged periods
