Does this portable mini dishwasher need to be plumbed or connected to a sink?

The dishwasher comes with a 3/4" hose to attach to the tap. But if that hose does not fit your tap you will need to find an adapter, like I did. My mixer tap is 22mm, and after much searching I found a Gardena product that works. The attachment replaces the aerator on my mixer tap (easy screw on screw off), then the 3/4" hose just screws onto the adapter. What is the highest temperature? 50 or 70?

The maximum temperature is 75, depending on the program you use, there is a washing time of 20 minutes to 3 hours. I find it can clean and dry dishes very well.

Is 60 mins added to every cycle to dry?

Yes, it does seem to go automatically from the washing cycle to the drying which lasts for 60 minutes. I usually let it do about 5 minutes and then I press S/P which interrupts the cycle. I then switch the machine off at the socket. I don't really want to be paying for an extra hour of electricity use and it doesn't seem to upset the machine. It works fine the next time I switch it on to do a wash. Hope this helps.
