I bought to replace another brand that looked identical. Worked fine. Will use again.

Straight- forward instructions, well- built. Functions as advertised. My use was to reduce the volume of 70v ceiling speakers in the restrooms of a restaurant. The speakers were not on their own zone, so the volume to the dining room was also the volume to the small quiet bathrooms. Way too loud, with the speakers set to their lowest tap setting of 7.5v. Putting this controller in the run from the amp to the bathrooms was the answer. Running it at the 6th detent, out of 10. My only request would be to make the position indicator dent on the knob easier to see. It's effectively invisible in a dimly-lit environment.

I ordered one to try it out. I like the "click feel" between steps. And when the sound is off you can see at a glance how the volume is.

Delivery time good

Just fits in a standard box, wires being on the top and bottom have to be carefully coaxed in. Works well hooked up to a 200 watt amp with speakers in a bathroom.
