bella Waffle Maker, Non-stick, Extra Large Plates, Stainless Steel/Black

I got this to replace a very old Cuisinart single waffle maker that had lost its non-stick ability. I'm just a single person that makes enough waffles for me and am not feeding a family. The first thing I noticed is this thing is big and makes a lot of waffles. One batch and I'm done. But it cooks them very nicely. Big, deep waffle pattern, even cooking, there is no temp control but it's always done when it says they're done. Love it. Definitely recommend. Two things I'm not thrilled about - as with most of these waffle makers, they aren't easy to clean, and this one is no different. I spend more time cleaning it than actually cooking. But I think that's par with non-removable grids. The only thing I question is the very flimsy latch that holds it closed. It's designed and built poorly and is always in the way. Since one nasty look and it would probably break off, I might just quicken it's demise. I have no reason to lock the two halves together while its nestled in the cupboard.

Light indicator is convenient. We can cook other parts of the meal without keeping a constant eye on the waffles like we did with pancakes.

Love this waffle maker . This is by far the best waffle maker I’ve ever had . Gets my waffles nice and crispy for my early mornings before I go to the gym .

Was so excited to get this for my birthday... After 30 years of marriage my husband finally got me what I wanted, kitchen stuff... I've used it for 2 months and we all know how often you actually make waffles... My 9-year-old had her first slumber party Of course we had to make waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast and low and behold it will not heat up I made rubber waffles not fully cooked. the iron will no longer heat fully. Light say ready. I left them in there for half an hour and it never cooked them the whole way. Very disappointed will never buy a Bella brand again. Of course it's outside the return window. And now I'm not sure my husband will ever buy me kitchen gadgets for my birthday again and that's really what I want. Down and out with soggy waffles.

Works very well and makes great waffles in a short time. The reason for the four stars is that the clip that hold the lid close is a little too thin and may break if one is not careful. The rest of the grill is quite sturdy.

I tried this waffle maker for the first time this morning and it worked perfectly. I’ve used waffle makers before and generally got good results but today’s waffles were near perfect and tasted great. I followed the directions and had zero problems. I’ve seen Belgian Waffle Makers for as much as $200+ and I really can’t believe they would make waffles that taste any better or come out any better than mine did this morning. I put a very small amount of cooking oil on the plates after wiping them off with a damp paper towel, let it warm up until the ready light came on and poured the batter on each plate. The batter will fill up the crevices and expand so it doesn’t have to be very thick. I put the lid down and waited until the light came on. The lid wasn’t quite ready to open yet so, per instructions, I let them cook another 30 seconds and opened the lid to 4 perfect waffles. Cleaning was one tiny crumb that broke off one of the waffles. I am very pleased with this item and can’t wait to use it again.

Heats up fast? Yes — faster than my kids when they hear “chocolate chips.” Crispy outside? Golden perfection. Easy cleanup? Wipes down easily (major win). Stick factor? Zero. We love a non-stick queen. Final verdict: 10/10. Weekend breakfast hero.

Toasty waffle maker! Evenly cooks our waffles. We bought the Bella single waffle maker and loved it. We gave it away to move up to this bigger model. It’s quick consistent and fairly compact. It deserves a spot on your counter. Only negative was it arrived with the protective plastic already removed. It was clearly someone’s returned waffle iron. However since it works great that’s forgivable.

I’ve been looking for an affordable, no mess true Belgian waffle maker for a few years now. I’ve tried different models and brands before buying this one by Bella. The waffle maker is heavy duty, with good construction and materials. I made a batch of perfect waffles on the first try, and have been making them consistently since. They come out as good as a more expensive waffle maker, like Breville. The 1400w plates heat up quickly and the temperature is just right for cooking the batter right through with a golden crust. Very happy and satisfied with this purchase.

Mejor de lo que esperaba. Quedaron muy ricos y doriaditos. Solo hay que aprender a calcular la cantidad de masa que se debe poner para evitar escurrimientos. Tamaño ideal para uso familiar Tarda tiempo adecuado en dejarlos listos Fácil de limpiar siempre y cuando no se escurra la masa, por ello sugiero cuidar que quede a 3/4 Solo la he usadi 1 vez, veremos con el tiempo la calidad del poducto.

I bought this one because it has higher wattage and so cooks the food more efficiently and to a better crispness for me. It may cost more but it is worth it.

Es bastante difícil de usar y para la pimpieza una batalla total. Aún usa do su recetario para la preparación de la mezcla.
