I have several a/c window units that have come with a remote that uses the coin like batteries which are a hassle to change.This remote uses AAA batteries and works well at a reasonable price for a remote.

wow it really works!
was a bit pricier than i'd like, but, it abolutely works and im really happy i don't have to mess with them 'button' batteries anymore. I opened the package, scrounged around to find two AAA batteries, that i wasn't sure if they worked. Put batteries in the remote, aimed it at the airconditioner, pressed the on button and ac came on immediately!

Easy to handle
Great replacement for the Midea AC control, which is too small to be useful and which required removal the reinsertion of the button battery every few days to make contact.
