Follow up to my previous review. This thing is OUTSTANDING for what it is.
I've now had this machine for about a month and a half. I know it looks like it should come with an EZ-Bake oven, but this is no toy. I'm utterly serious when I say that the washer does a much better job of getting clothes clean than a "regular" North American type washer/dryer set. The water literally whips the clothes around in the tub (you have to see it to believe it) and my stuff has never been cleaner. My apartment doesn't have hookups and the laundry room is in the basement 10 floors down with ancient Speed Queen machines that are as old as I am--and $5.00 to wash/dry clothes was getting ridiculous, so I got this. First, I really thought my wife and I required as large of a machine as possible. The fact is this 26lb model could VERY EASILY accommodate a family of four. If you want to save some money, the 17lb model would likely be far more than you need for two people. I got this model because it had a drain pump. Put it on a small dolly that we just wheel into the kitchen on wash day, and put the drain hose into the sink--much better than the gravity-drain models.ONE ITEM THAT IS A MUST: The hoses that come with this are meant I think for asian homes where the faucets are much smaller than ours. I bought something called a "RINSEROO", available on Amazon, which is a faucet adapter that fits ANY faucet and the hoses of which fit the machine perfectly for filling the unit. I can't overstate the fact that I "overbought" with this machine. While the dimensions suggest otherwise (it is very compact) it holds a LOT of laundry. Multiple towels (heavy bath sheet types), jeans, etc etc. The downside to all this capacity is that it takes about 10 minutes to fill the wash tub with our rather low-flow kitchen sink, and the next size down would shorten that time. With all that said, picture two 50-somethings watching this thing agitate their clothes in a whirlpool of sheer power! LOL. It really is astonishing that something this inexpensive does a BETTER JOB than a regular washer. It is, however, more labor intensive, and you have to watch it while it fills (no auto-shutoff, YOU are the water level sensor). We turn on the water, and set the kitchen timer for 10 minutes to avoid a flood. It's worth the time, because everything for us fits in one load with room to spare. Also: The spinner is NOT A DRYER!!!!!!! It simply gets the excess water out and does NOT dry--PEOPLE: READ ABOUT THESE MACHINES. I'm tired of people complaining that it isn't a heated dryer. With that said, clothing comes out of the spinner DAMP. You literally cannot wring any water out of them, and we hang dry for a couple hours which works just fine and likely saves a TON of electricity. We are ASTOUNDED at how well this works, especially the agitation and how clean everything comes out. It's hard to believe the cost when compared to standard machines, and yet get this result. If you can't have a "normal" washer/dryer set, THIS IS A GOD SEND, works far better than advertised, and it is one of those things that is just so simple, it's a thing of beauty.Have I mentioned the agitation? LOL. No other standard washer even comes close to moving this much water around, thus things are just so much cleaner. After the detergent wash cycle which is up to 15 mins, we transfer the stuff into the spinner, and hook up the hose to the spin side of the machine, which rinses the soap out while it spins. We then fill the tub back up for a thorough rinse, but I suspect the "spin rinse" would actually have an acceptable result if you're short on time. In closing, if you don't have laundry hookups in your abode, this is exactly (more than) what you need! FIVE STARS. We are totally impressed and satisfied. Just know WHAT IT IS, and do yourself a favor and watch a couple you tube videos, and you'll be equally impressed, guaranteed.PS-The instruction manual is absolutely hilarious, with extremely poorly translated Chinese to English. It's almost worth the purchase just to see how bad the instructions are, LOL.You'd think a company this large could hire a proper translator--but at least it's cheap entertainmentthat's included with your purchase!

Útil para emergencia
Muy útil aunque para prendas delicadas es mejor ponerlas en bolsa de red porque las estira demasiado

DO NOT BUY THIS
Edit: we finally were offered a full refund. But I still wouldn't recommend buying it because it didn't last very long.We have been using portable washing machines like this one for years. We bought this one after our old one died on us after 2 years of service. The old one was a different brand and quite a bit smaller. So we opted to get the bigger one to have less loads to clean. The first two weeks went great. Except the lint catcher fell off during washes, so we took it off. Then 3 weeks into having the thing it broke. The washing side did not spin anymore so the laundry just sat in still water not cleaning. It was still in the 1 month time frame for return/refund. So I contacted Amazon to return it. They sent the return slip and I went to mail it back. I didn't keep the box so I had to pay $60 to buy a custom size box to mail it back. Then after it was returned I get an email saying my refund was cancelled. I will not be getting my money back. Not only the 250 I spent on the machine but the 60 to mail it back was wasted. If I knew it wasn't going to be refunded I would have kept the pile of trash and tried to fix it myself. But with the time limit running out I mailed it.

One of the best purchases we ever made!
So my guy and I live in a tiny apartment that is a duplex from a slightly bigger house. We do not have washer and dryer hookups because the bigger part of the duplex has those. We have been using laundrymats for nearly 6 years, so we decided to order a portable washer. Now my guy is very meticulous in what he chooses to order. He had been looking around Amazon for one that he liked, that had good reviews, and would fit our needs. I started looking and came across this one. I showed it to him and he said it was one that he had looked at as well. We pulled the trigger on the purchase.OMG! When we got it we did a little load just to see how it went. The hookup was quick and easy. The only complaint I will say was that the washer inlet hose that came with it was... flimsy at best. For a little while, til we could get something that was much more suitable, we simply used a bucket (which does take a min) or the sink sprayer (Which is nice but you have to stand there the whole time) to fill it up.The washer did not leak, the drain feature worked as it should and the time to wash was crazy fast, even for heavy loads. Some of our clothes needed a second wash but that was not the washer's fault. We were also pleasantly surprised by how little noise it made! Our neighbor goes to sleep early because she works early and we have done laundry late into the night. On the other side of our small apartment, you can barely hear the swish, swish of the washer side, and the spin cycle side spins out EVERYTHING we have put in it with no second spins needed! I even recommended it to a friend who was thinking about getting something for him and his fiancee who are in a similar situation to me and my guy! Highly recommend!PS: the directions are kinda hard to read, with some bad translations and typos, but you can pretty much get the jest of what to do to get it started.PPS: the item may come labeled as Costway but a little research showed me that Giantex owns that brand as well.

Love the product so far! Excuses my whiny precious 1 y/o lol.
The media could not be loaded. Works as it should. I purchased an extended intake pipe when I purchased the actual product, but I still can’t get the water to flow without leaking. So I just manually poured water into it which isn’t a problem for me at all. I also had to purchase a three prong extension cord because the outlet in my bathroom sits up high on the wall. The cord is short so it doesn’t reach. I’m thinking about sitting it outside my bathroom onto my balcony and letting the drain hose run down the roofs gutter.
