Maximum Ride: The Manga, Vol. 3

Continuing this amazing manga adaption! :)
I am a big fan of the Maximum Ride series, and the manga versions are a must-read for anyone who loves the books! Volume 3 starts at the beginning of Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever (Maximum Ride Childrens Edition) and finishes about mid-way through the same book. The dialogue is very similar to the book, and the plot line follows perfectly. The artwork, like the previous two volumes, is beautiful, and matches my internalised pictures of the characters very well. I liked the way that in this one, the characters appearances did change slowly, as well as their outfits, which had been pretty static in the other volumes.I think this could easily work as a stand-alone manga series for people who haven't read the novels, as well as being an amazing addition to the series! For the non-book readers, the story takes a twist from the first two volumes. When the flock are stuck in a tricky situation, Max has to take help from an outsider... the head of the FBI. And a character you weren't expecting might reappear...But enough with the spoilers ;)Five stars, and I look forward to volume 4, which will hopefully have a nice picture of Nudge on the front!! :) Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever (Maximum Ride Childrens Edition)
