I bought this as a replacement to another one as the battery went out. This is a must buy to pass the time. The buttons are switched but not an issue and for the price it is perfect. Buy this as a gift or yourself and you are good to go.

When I first got this little bugger when the volume was on it would blink a white light. It has seemed to now self correct for $10 on a coupon who could complain. Some of the games are re labeled with different names to account tmfor more games than there really are .All in all ita a gift for a child yet I want one myself lol .I Would indeed buy again.

This is a fun little toy for a low price, but you get what you pay for. There are several flaws with this console and they all come from cutting corners.First, battery life is poor. You get an hour, maybe two. Don’t take it on long car trips.I’ve noticed that sometimes there is lag between when you press a button and when the action happens in a game. It’s only a fraction of a second, but it’s enough to throw you off.The volume control is bad. You get for presets: mute, soft, medium and loud.Another frustration is that it advertises 500 games, but many of them are duplicates. My estimate is that there are only around 250 games. Also many classic favorites are omitted.Finally, the games are ROMs pulled from the Internet. I don’t believe the games are properly licensed in any way. In some cases they change the names of games to hide it. For example, Super Mario Brothers is listed as “Super Bear Brothers.”If Nintendo could come up with a retro console that could meet demand, there would be no need for products like this.

We ordered one and it didn't work. The screen blinks on and off and gets increasingly worse if you try to use the volume. We sent it back and tried a different one. It does the exact same thing. Can't even use it. I missed the return window by a couple of days or I would totally send it back. So disappointing.
