Update: the company makes accessories that fasten to the bottom of gate and go under the mat to hold the gate together tightly. Why they are not automatically included, who knows. And no mention on the product page. Anyway, once we figured out how to actually use the things we found the gate to be really secure and everything we had hoped for. Thank you. Updating to 4 stars.Old:I was looking at other (less expensive brands) gate options but chose this to go with the alzip sg mat we already had. I wanted to make sure that the fence was a perfect fit, snug and secure. Well, we have hardwood floors. Within moments of being inside the enclosure our 9 month old figured out how to push the gate outward so that there are wide gaps of flooring exposed. At each section the gate pushes out. I went out and purchased 8 door wedges which temporarily secure the sections (and looks terrible) until the baby eventually jostles them. All in all not what I had hoped for. Waited 22 days to receive the item and spent way too much money on it. It might work better with carpeting underneath but I can't confirm.

I like the size of it and that it fits my G mat perfectly. HOWEVER!... the fence bends outwards away from the mat when any pressure is placed on it. The worst part is on the side by the gate.The seller said they were sending parts to fix the issue, (attaching the mat to the fence)... but all they sent were more “taco shell” things that are useless and DONT fix the problem. This is now gonna require imagination and several trips to the hardware store to try and fix the defect.Because of this issue, I don’t feel this fence is worth over 200$. If they could send something that actually secured the fence to the mat my satisfaction and rating would definitely be a 4 or 5 star.I really like the mat- but this review is on the fence.
