I was struggling with a solid recall in a high distraction environment.Adding this to my training (with a dog that already recalled....ok-ish), was a slam dunk.This whistle cuts through and is easy to use. 2 pips and she's FLYING to me. I trust using this in a dog park over yelling any day of the week.I just wish it came with a lanyard.

We've bought 4 of these now - one for each car, one for back door, one for front door. Our dog was a shelter dog - found as a stray, adopted, returned for having "too much energy," the n adopted by us. Yes, high energy, crazy prey drive. We hoped to use it for commands, but since it works so well for us as a deterrant to bad behavior, that's what we save it for. Our dog is finally able to walk off-leash because we have the security of this whistle. We've had to make up flyers for this whistle because again, everyone wants one for their pet! Don't over use it - don't make it a torture device. But when you want to reinforce "NO!" this is a go to.
