Game Reaper Tikka T3 - Low Mount (Black, 30mm)

Ordered two DNZ mounts for Tikka T3X rifles. Love the mounts and design but both have slight defects. The first had a ring that didn’t match up with the base very well (gap between the base ring and top ring). The other hand a noticeable bump inside one of the rings. I mounted both on the guns and I’m waiting on the scopes. Hopefully they mount well. If not I’ll return them.

I prefer these scope mounts on a Tikka because they cover the 900 holes on the top of the receiver. But, given Tikka is smart enough to include a recoil lug recess, these really should include the recoil lug to match. Additionally, given the cost, I would expect the finish on these to not be so easily removed on the edges compared to Warne products. Other than a few nitpicks, mine has been working great for my Tikka Ultralite -- the mount is very light.

I love DNZ Game Reapers, I think they are the best design/concept (and lightweight) for mounting optics. A note for anybody with Sig BDX scopes (or any scope that bulge down in the middle vs remain flat across the entire tube): The 30mm Low mount will not fit this scope. This is because of the crossbar connecting the two mounts together, it is in the way of bulge on the bottom of this scope. Perhaps a medium or high mount version would work, however then you will just be raising the scope up higher too. I suggest the two piece Hunt Master's or Talley rings in this situation.

Works perfectly with a Leupold VX-5HD 2-10x42 on a Tikka t3x superlite

On a T3 Hunter with Leupold vx-6 3-18 44mm and it just clears. Almost too low to be comfortable, would like to try med height, but this is almost perfect. Great base/rng combo, solid and pretty light, easy to install
