Jawas just didn't have small LED red eyes
People who seek to buy a Star Wars costume are always looking for some level of authenticity. I am no different. This costume is by far the best if you are looking for a hood and outfit portion with belts (made of velcro attached molded soft rubber). However, the eyes just weren't right at all and I was disappointed. I don't remember a Jawa with tiny red LED lights spaced far apart in the movies. The ones I remember from the film had subtle glowing orange/yellow orbs or discs. Additionally, what's not so great is the clear plastic inner face cover that has the red LEDs attached. It's hard to breathe through and not that great, as wires are somewhat in the field of vision. So, necessity is the mother of invention, once again. I went and got a typical Halloween hockey mask, adhered sticky back black felt (from Michael's craft store) to the front and cut out the eye holes with an X-Acto knife. I then backed the mask (inside) with squishy green chair seat foam to bring the face off the mask to aide in breathability and provide some comfort. This foam was from the material store and then hot-glued to bring the face off the surface.I then put orange LEDs portable/battery-operated 15 string orange lights (from Rite Aid - think portable Xmas lights) and drilled holes for the lights to pass through from the inside of the mask. These were positioned so that they sat low on the front of the mask with small vending machine capsules sanded on the inside. This allowed for the orange LEDs to glow inside. A bit more than I can explain here. The extra cost for these materials was about $12-$15 extra but worth every penny. On Halloween, everyone commented about the eyes. So, basically I ordered the hood, outfit and belts which worked fine and was worth the expense because we are not master seamstresses in this house and were pressed for time. It's worth it for the costume but the lights of the eyes (really the main feature) were less than satisfactory and a design afterthought. If they could produce a mask the way I did, they could easily sell this for $15-$20 or so more and make a killing.

the material in no way resembles the picture as it is not cotton or felt like at all
On the one hand this is made of extremely cheap stuff. As others have said, the material in no way resembles the picture as it is not cotton or felt like at all. Instead it is a cheap polyester. The face mask is pretty horrible as it is a plastic plate with the lights wired in. Ours came in with a dead battery and didn't work. It had a sticker that said - you cannot replace the battery. When I ripped the plastic face mask out I saw that you could cut into the plastic and replace it if you really needed to. But I was ripping it out anyway as we have these glasses with red laser eyes to use anyway which worked great (they were from a nurf toy where you can shine your laser eyes on a ball and see it in the dark and they worked perfectly). I also altered the face part so at school he could take the black screen and put it behind his head as masks are not allowed at school. For Halloween I quickly stitched it back down. No biggie.Know that you may have to stitch parts together after some hours of use at a party. After wearing the outfit to school - the shoulder started to come appart - the stitching was that week.So why give it 3 stars you ask? Because one I got his eyes working - and despite the cheap material - it was still a success and it wasn't that expensive. The bandoliers look very cool and it is a unique costume that was a hit with everyone - especially my son.Sizing was very accurate so that was good.Get it as long as you pay under $30 and know that you may have to replace the battery and you may want to cut away the plastic mask so maybe it only covers the forehead and still provides glowing eyes?Good luck!

Authentic Yellow Eyes are the Most Important Thing, apparently.
It was ok. My son was happy, which is the most important thing. But the sleeves and bottom weren't tattered like in the photo. The eyes were yellow, which I was told was of utmost importance for authenticity. The two accessories velcro onto the shoulder and sides, which was perfect for my 'husky' son. He wears a sz 14/16 in pants and the largest size costume fit him just right. The hood is kind of a pain. There is a plastic curved piece that the lights are attached to, which is secured to the hood. The lights were easy to get on and off with a quick switch positioned on the outside corner of the plastic. However, we had to pin the back to the costume so it wouldn't keep falling forward and blocking my son's view. A quick fix but still a pain.

Cool Costume
Bought this for my 8 year olds son. It fits perfect. The mask slides around a bit due to how it is designed. The lights work great. He already wore it once for trick or treating on a camping trip earlier this month. The material is the typical nylon type robe with Velcro. The belts are made of foam. It's not great quality for the price but my son loves it and it should hold up fine through Halloween.

Perfect costume!
My son saved his money to get this costume for May the 4th. It came on time, and every where he wore it, he was complimented on how good he looked. He was very happy with this costume!

Costume does not look like the picture
Costume does not look like the picture. The shoulder bandoleers were foam, that wouldn't lay flat(unlike the picture). The eyes were simple leds now round discs like pictured. The mask we got had a clear plastic shell inside it to hold it in shape, but for some reason it fogged up and no amount of cleaning it helped, I ended up having to cut plastic out of the eye area in order for my son to see out of the mask. It worked so I can't complain to much, but I wouldn't suggest it.

Great Costume!!
My son loved this costume when it first came. The headpiece is cool, but it’s really hard to see out of and the lights from the eyes glowing is hard to see through. Overall it was a great costume for my son who loves Star Wars!!

Costume
My son wore this for Halloween he had so much fun. Only thing he didn't like was with the mask he got over heated. I think it was from the plastic part with the eyes, because when he took it off he cooled down. He can still loved it.

buen disfraz
mi hijo lo disfrutó mucho, el unico detalle es que se le caía un poco de lado la máscara pero es facil de arreflar con un elastico o algun hilo, nada complicado, me pareció un buen disfraz
