Poor quality , I just started to use with my mac book and the skin started to going out , the pillow isn't nice and the bar what have to hold the laptop doesn't work ..

I use a 16 inch mac and a 17 inch windows laptop. I was looking for a good product where i can use it with mouse while sitting on sofa or bed. I tried a few different products but stopped using after a couple of days at most. Key reasons were - it would slip off, cushioning on the lap was not comfortable..I found this product to be particularly good in all these aspect. Sturdy, large enough to fit in the 17 inch (heavy) laptop, has a mousepad, provison to prevent laptop slipping off (wish it was there on mousepad).. Most importantly, very good cushioning and stable.. have been able to use it for several hours at a stretch during holidays, now looking to order more for others in family

Wooden board used should have been stronger. If you place a laptop and lift it from the sides, the board flexes and has a very high tendency to break.

At first, I found the product to be satisfactory and practical. However, it has a vulnerability around the edges of the mouse pad, leading to breakage after only a few weeks of use. Shortening the length of the mouse pad area and removing the phone holder could reinforce this weak spot. Once this issue is addressed, the product will prove advantageous.

My Asus Tuf A17 lap is barely able to sit on this lapdesk, with no room to spare. It's a tight fit.Pros:LightweightLooks goodCushion underneath, made of what feels like little beads or something (not sponge) is airy and comfortable enoughCons:Bends slightly under the weight of my gaming laptop which weighs 2.60 kg. With a cooler underneath the laptop, lap desk bends even more.You are forced to always be careful to keep it flat. even if you tilt slightly (which often happens with lap desks because of convenience) the mouse slides right off. My expensive wireless mouse already fell 3 times ( still working or I'd have been pissed) in the 3 weeks I've used this lap desk.Conclusion: Compared to the large sheet of plywood I've been using with a pillow underneath, this lapdesk feels very comfortable and airy. But even the sheet of plywood held my mouse in place better than this lapdesk. If you use trackpad instead of a mouse, go right ahead and buy the damn thing. But if you use a mouse for your laptop, unless you're willing to sacrifice the mouse, think before you buy.Update: After a month of using it, I am now able to balance it horizontally on my lap so the mouse doesn't slide. Also, though my 17" laptop fits with little room to spare, I'm no longer concerned that it might fall off the lap desk. The only minor concern is that my 2.6 kg laptop caused lapdesk to bend a little when it is lifted from the sides. Would this result in bending more and more and finally end up breaking? Time alone will tell. Right now this doesn't seem like a big issue. Upgrade from 3 stars to 5 starts.
