Amazon Basics Smudge Resistant Rectangular Trash Can With Soft-Close Foot Pedal, Brushed Stainless Steel, 50 Liter/13.2 Gallon, Satin Nickel Finish

Good procuct

I've gone through my fair share of waste bins over the years, but none have impressed me quite like this one. From its sleek design to its impressive durability, this waste bin is a cut above the rest. The stainless steel construction not only looks great in any room, but it also ensures that this bin can handle whatever you throw its way. Plus, the size is just right—not too big to be obtrusive, but spacious enough to hold plenty of trash without needing constant emptying. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you're in the market for a waste bin that combines style and functionality, look no further than this one.

This was half the price of alternatives I had been looking at, so I was concerned that this may be reflected in the quality. In fact the quality seems perfect - solid, with a very good foot peddle and soft close system. Ideal size too. No point in spending any more.

The Amazon Basics Small Rectangular Trash Can has been a great addition to my home. Its 5-liter capacity is perfect for smaller spaces like bathrooms or offices. The brushed stainless steel with a satin nickel finish gives it a modern, upscale look that resists smudges and fingerprints, keeping it looking clean. I'm particularly impressed with the soft-close foot pedal, which operates smoothly and quietly. The can's lid seals well, containing odors effectively. Despite its compact size, it's quite sturdy and doesn't tip over easily. For anyone needing a small, stylish, and functional trash can, this one is a fantastic choice.

Looks great, good size and very practical

Amazing product better then high end brands!

Works well and reasonable steel quality

I needed a bigger bin for my kitchen and this was a good buy. It doesn’t take a lot of space as it is more a high bin than a wide bin. I’m happy with it

This is a beautiful product, sturdy, huge capacity. Really well made and well packed. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product.

Prachtige grote vuilnisbak waarvan het deksel automatisch sluit

Sleek, quiet, easy to use. Lid rests on hydraulic button the eases it down after lifting with the sturdy foot pedal. You can open the lid wider to stay open while the entire insert pulls out by the easy-to-grab handles so bag can be pulled out without making a bunch of noise, bag changed and then return the insert into the main can. Then just put the lid back into normal position and let it close on it's own. It's completely silent. The asthetic design is very nice - the brushed metal finish would blend with most modern kitchens and the lid seals very well so odors don't escape. The can is light enough to move easily but heavy and balanced enough to keep from tipping, so could help keep nosy pets out. There is a hole along the back of the insert which, if the rim opening of your bag doesn't cling to the insert and is a bit loose after you fold it over the edge, you can poke the bag through the back, grab it from the inside, pull it gently tight around the rim and hold it there as you drop the insert back into the unit, and once the insert is settled let go and the bag should stay in place. Took me a couple of times to figure it out but it works well to do it that way. The Kroger brand kitchen bags are that way... a bit loose. But the Glad brand kitchen size bags are tighter and pretty much stay on their own. So it depends on what brand you get. I believe the hole is to allow air out as you fill the bag, but I found it has this dual purpose. Overall, I really love this unit (as much as any human being is opposed to love a trash can), and I'm going to buy one my one for each of my married kids as a gift and another one for upstairs. Even if they might seem pricey at first, it's a good quality and I expect it to last a long time. It seems very well made. Oscar the Grouch would be quite impressed. I'll never buy a "cheap" trash can again.
