When I saw how tiny the box for this soaker hose was -- and how light -- I was sure that I would hate it. But it works incredibly well, at least in the 15-foot length. The hose is not rubber but rather nylon fabric, and the water leaks out of it to truly soak the ground around it. This is not a slow soaker but rather a rapid one because it doesn't have holes, just the natural ones in nylon fabric.I bought this for two side-by-side raised garden boxes for use (on a timer) when I'm out of town and cannot water them by hand. In a mere 8 minutes, the boxes were leaking water out of the bottom -- that's how much and how fast water comes out. The 15-ft length covers both boxes with two passes. Although it's not enough to get to all roots, the amount of water coming out eventually soaks into surrounding soil. For regular gardens, the length will be much too short.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I love that I can link two hoses together - they are extremely light in weight. The experts advise not to link more than 50 foot soaker hoses together, but I think these work just fine; time will tell. I have a small yard and two 50 foot hoses linked together would not work to get the yard soaked at once. The soaker hose water leaks at the rate of 2 gallons per 2 minutes at regular 50 PSI which outperforms most of the current recycled soaker hose on the market thus saving water. I will purchase two more hoses for the front yard so I can water the front and the back at the same time.

It’s made out of a fabric-like material so I am less worried about it blowing out.

The brand I had before this died at about 2.5 weeks. Clogged up. This is still going. The bar is low.

Had tried soakers made of dense foam material in the past, but they cracked or tore before summer ended. This soaker is made of a canvas like material and is not as stiff, so is easier to curve around plant beds and has lasted much longer.

This is a way more efficient way to water plants, plus you dont want water on the leaves because the sun can magnify the light and burn the leaves.I thought i had a flow issue, but i realized the hose was going up hill. You want it flat or going downhill.

They work great & are easily set up in your garden. Just remember to wind around the plants sometimes you need a longer line than you think you will need. I have also been very successful at running lines with a couple hoses together, they come with this option that you can link them. I have been using them for two years and are very pleased with them. Only one got ripped apart & that was my fault, my mower ripped it apart, dumb me for getting close to the soaker with the mower. I say this as a precaution to others. Buy them, save time & money on watering your plants; plants are generally healthier when they are given a slow soak rather than too much water at once.

It states that it 1.8 gallons per hour; however, after 1.5 hours, my garden was barely wet.Correction 6/3/23 I found out that my hose was partially blocked which prevented the soaker for providing adequate water flow. Removed the blockage, the soaker works great.

Only had it a month it does a good job so far hopefully it lasts a whole season

This is a great soaker hose. It soaks the soil without spraying the leaves of the garden plants, or the surrounding area. The black colour blends well with the soil, so it looks neat when installed. I use this to water a raised bed. It's just what I needed. I tried 2 other brands of soaker hose, and this one is by far the best.

I purchased this to set up an automatic watering system for my garden while we go on holiday. It has been working for a couple of days now and it's exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the hose is also very good.

At first glance the soaker hose appeared to be good quality and worked extremely well for the first week. After the first week the hose split in many different places and would spray water rather than being a soaker hose.

STARTED to get big holes,thought something chewed it so cut hose and put in a hose joiner,TURNED back on and watched it spring more holes.THIS product is JUNK,wish i sent it back. SURE don't make things like they used to.
