Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range On/Off Switch ZEN71 800LR, White | Direct 3-Way (No Add-On Switch Needed) | Z-Wave Hub Required

Migrated all my switches from Enbrighten, the failure company, to these. Very pleased. They don't make a loud clunk like the other brand, and so far they've not failed as quickly either. Perfect plug-and-play, I use these with HomeAssistant.

These are super functional, easy to connect, identically sized to traditional switches & provide a great alternative to smart switches where wiring a 3 way might not be feasible. The company has awesome installation instructions and good customer service too!

This is a great wall switch. I have installed several around the house - especially when there is a 3-way setup since I don't have to buy "add-on" switches like other brands. I just installed this unit so I'm commenting on the others that have been online for over 1 year. They have performed without any issues. The installation instructions are very clear and I can now install subsequent switches in a few minutes.

The Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range On/Off Switch is perfect for anyone who’s ever thought, “You know what this light switch needs? A firmware update.” Right out of the box, it looks innocent enough — just a simple switch. But don’t be fooled. This thing speaks fluent Z-Wave, communicates with your smart home hub better than most people text back, and has a range so long it probably picks up signals from your neighbor’s house. Hope you enjoy accidentally controlling their garage door. Installation is fairly straightforward — assuming you enjoy playing electrician for fun and can remember which breaker controls which room (spoiler: you can’t). Just make sure you’re cool with cramming it into a wall box that was apparently designed for wires and hopes, not smart tech. Once it’s connected, you can control your lights like some kind of power-hungry wizard: from your phone, your hub, or even automations that turn the lights off right after you leave the room like a passive-aggressive ghost. Bonus: it's compatible with the latest Z-Wave tech, which means it’ll still be useful after your current smart home setup has gone the way of Betamax. Would I recommend it? Sure! If you love home automation, don’t mind reading installation guides that are slightly more complex than IKEA furniture, and enjoy flipping switches with the smug satisfaction of knowing your house is smarter than you are.

This was my first Z-Wave switch and I'm happy to report that Zooz did not disappoint. I don't like how adding one of these forces you to re-wire the other switches controlling the same lights/outlets, but once you resign yourself to doing twice as much work, it's not too bad. Just as a heads up, these paddle switches don't toggle between the top and bottom being flush with the face plate. They return to the default "halfway" or middle position after you press the button. Despite this, there is still a very satisfying mechanical "click" feeling when you press the button, just like a traditional paddle switch. Make sure you have a Z-Wave hub before getting this though. I use the Hubitat C8 Pro and it connects with the right drivers effortlessly, but Zooz is a good brand and is supported by a lot of other hubs.

Easy install. I had to modify the existing 3-way with wiring. Great instructions are included. Quick and easy inclusion on my Hubitat. It is a great addition to my ever growing home automation.

Works well for Z-Wave. But it takes a second to actuate when operated manually. I used in my garage and as I walked in or out, but I couldn't tell if I hit it right.

Seamlessly integrated into my home automation system. Currently being used as the bathroom fan switch and is set up with my temp/humidity sensor to automatically turn on and off the fan as the humidity changes. Was so easy to install and set up. I have a not too bad grasp of electricity but I am not an electrician. I had no problem installing this switch, if you can read instructions and follow directions you will not have a problem.

Bought this to replace an older Zwave switch that was getting flakey and missing on/off commands from the hub. This one has not mis-fired once. Zwave Plus is a worthy investment for those looking for improved reliability and range. Solidly built, works great with my Hubitat hub. The Hubitat Zooz app also supports changing the LED indicator colour. Installation was only mildly tricky, figuring out how the wire terminal clamps work. Very happy overall.

normally I have no issues with Zooz switches, with this model I've had some hit and miss where they wouldn't pair properly, and once paired they wouldn't communicate. had to replace new out of the box ones because of that.
