Nobody [DVD] [2021]

I'd seen this movie advertise quite a few times before I rented it & thought it looked good on those, and it was pretty awesome!!! It's just my kinda film tho, cos I absolutely LOVE the 'Law Abiding Citizen' movie too & this has some similarities, altho there's different reasons for both of them doing what they do & even HOW they do it all...but still, similar underlying principle!

Couldnt find what to watch. Selected this on the off chance. Slow burner, but well worth the wait. Excellent film.

The portail of a reluctant action hero speaks to something inside that is relatable. The turmoil the main character feels is acted really well and although it does then fall into predictable action tropes there is always a subtle underplay on the interactions between the main cast that sets it apart. Worth a watch.

Love Bob Odenkirk but feel this film was marketed under a somewhat false premise.It was publicised as when a normal dad from a normal family come under attack from criminal violence and how he has to adjust from being a meek 'regularJoe' to someone who is prepared to fight for his family.I expected our hero to have to acquire and learn skills and attitudes to help in his fightback.Oh no ! It turns out that our hero is another one of those boring 'ex-CIA/covert ops/mercenary killers' who has been living the quiet life under the radar.Mr Meek is anything but ... he's another stereotypical trained killer, impervious to bullets and thinks nothing of taking on a bunch of hardened crims , hand to hand or gun to gun, with the usual ridiculous body count.Standard Hollywood BS in fact. ( I wonder what's happened to all those talented screen writers ? All suffocated by adolescent producers who know nothing about story telling I suppose)Very very disappointing.Expected a much more interesting and nuanced film from you Bob - Must try harder !!

Purchased for a very good price and it just happens to be a great film.

Fizyczny nośnik z bardzo dobrym udźwiękowieniem.

Un bon film d'action qui déménage. Commence doucement et fini en feu d'artifices.Trame classique mais le divertissement est au RDV.Seule bémol la qualité de la 4K.Le Lecteur UHD et la TV UHD reconnaissant bien qu'il s'agit d'un Blueray UHD, mais le piqué de l'image est plutôt digne d'une bonne HD.

All I will say is buy this movieIt's fantastic, hard to get but well worth the wait
