Dexter-RussellSani-Safe- 8" Cook's Knife

I really like these knife. I also have an 11" version of this knife which was gifted to us by a professional chef years ago along with a Sani-Safe bread knife. I liked it so much I purchased the 8" version. They are all great knives and are my regular go to favorites. I give them a quick steel before each use and they stay nice and sharp, are a nice weight and balance and they feel good in the hand. I find them all easy to work with. I like the white plastic handles as they look clean and are comfortable to hold and resist any kind of bacterial growth. They could go through a dishwasher but I wouldn't do that to my knives. It's just soap and hot water for me. If I were buying more knives I would definitely buy more of these. They are a quality knife and I expect them to last a long time.

I bought the Dexter Sani-Safe 8" Chef Knife, but I got the Dexter Basics knife instead. So I returned it and ordered another, but that was the Basics knife again. So frustrating!

This is my third knives from Dexter-Russel . By far the best chef knives made in the market for that price. Never rust, get sharpened in seconds . Highly recommended

Ive been a coon for 35 years. I own Shun, global, and a few $400 hand forged knives. These dexters hold an edge better than all of them. Cant beat it.

Nice knife. Not a very heavy blade and I thought would be a bit sharper but all in all I think it was a great bargain.

Show me a better knife for 25 bucks or less. Easily the best commercial grade kitchen knife. This thing is a workhorse. Do not hesitate to buy.

Great all around kitchen knife. Razor sharp and great for cutting vegetables and meat. Easy to sharpen.
