Camera is fine, but the "improvements" on previous model have actually rendered this less useable
[updated review:]After reading my criticism, a representative of the company reached out to me, and told me the camera I had received does indeed have an "on" indicator, and the one I received was probably defective. It was replaced free of charge, and I have been using it for Zoom and Microsoft Meeting conferences for about 3 weeks now.It *is* a big improvement on the old model, there is a "power on" lamp, which does work, and the tripod can be removed from the stand so it can be perched on top of my monitor just fine.Everything else, including the very nice picture quality I noted in the earlier review still stands, and I am upgrading my rating to five stars.[earlier review]I bought this hoping some of the picture quality issues on a previous model sold on Amazon would be addressed, and for the most part they have been, but there are numerous problems with the accessories that make this camera far less useable than it once was.Biggest gripe: no power on light on the front of the camera. Folks, this is an absolute MUST have. Your old model had separated indicators for BOTH the video and the audio. There is no visual indication that this camera is even on, let alone that both features are enabled!Second biggest gripe: the old tripod consisted of flex metal legs, which allowed it to be perched atop a monitor or on the desktop. They could be squashed very flat, or raised very high. The new tripod has fixed length plastic legs which are barely adjustable, making it worthless anywhere but on a desktop surface, and worse, since the legs are "fixed" and the camera is heavy relative to the support, means the height of the tripod is barely adjustable at all.Sorry folks, but this is a failure. I wish you'd simply improved the electronics on the old model and left the ergonomics as they already were. I probably *will not* be using the "new" "improved" camera at all because of these limitations.

This camera is superb quality for the price.
This camera has good focus and good image quality. i was also able to set it up without any problems. My PC recognized it immediately. I dropped it on tile, because I am a clumsy person, and I expected it to break but this little camera is sturdy. I may be buying more in the future for a group project.

3 YEARS LATER
I like this camera a lot. I use it for meetings at work rather than my laptop camera. The only bad thing is the wire. It's long and it doesn't need to be that longWEIGHT: Not heavy and doesn't droopQUALITY: True 4KAUTOFOCUS: Never had an issue with autofocus...This thing is a champ

good camera at a great price point
I replaced my previous web camera with this one because I wanted a clearer picture and I thought it was time to upgrade. I plugged it in my usb hub, and the camera and microphone were installed in less than 1 minute - and they both worked. Even though it seems to be an off-brand, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Works Good
Nice and clear picture. No lag or anything. I would buy another one if I needed it.

Great Image Quality Does NOT work with Slack
We really liked these webcams but could not get them to work with Slack. Upon designating the camera, everything seems fine until you actually go to use Slack and the screen turns black. So the 3 stars is because of it not working with the programs we needed it to. After writing customer service of the manufacturer they said they had to get back to us later, so maybe we were the first people to contact them about this. They were responsive and refunded us.

Fantastic Camera
Was skeptical given the price, but this outperformed all other cameras I had tried. No fisheye effect, good light and color correction, as well as quick auto focus. The microphones sound good for conference calls, and cancels out keyboard/mouse clicks as well. Camera resolution obviously isn’t DSLR quality, but much better than any other 1080p or 2k webcams I had. Very happy with this.

Autofocus will ruin your life
The picture and sound quality is not quite as good as the iPhone 12, but if you want something that gets your image onto the computer, then still, skip this camera. The autofocus doesn’t ever stop, it is constantly trying to autofocus and never stops, so any video you take will give you a head ache just watching it zoom in and out, in and out in and out. There is an app from depstech that is entirely worthless - it does nothing to solve this and only affects brightness and contrast and sharpness or something. Third party apps also fail to address this, you can adjust settings, but you cannot save them. Camera settings on the computer will not fix this either. Again, buy Logitech, it’ll save you time and money
