The Locker Room 2nd read through
The 1st time I read this series I read the books through my local library completely out of order and all over the place and over a year time span. This time I’m reading them in order. Goodness I had completely forgotten the emotional roller coaster Knox and Emory took me on. And the angst DANG 8 YEARS!! Such a great book where my heart was shattered for both Knox and Emory but then was put back together

Seriously how does she do it?
Oh my word. I loved this book. Emory and Knox’s Romance was so sweet. Knox is my new book boyfriend! He is so sweet and caring toward Emory. I love the way Emory’s Character was written. She did so much growing and healing. Their story is definitely one of my new favorites.

Three fantastic stories and bonus catch up Epilouge? Yes please!!
I don’t usually gravitate toward sports romances, but after reading a few of Meghan Quinn’s teacher books where some of the Brentwood Boys make an appearance, I knew I had to read them. And man oh man, I love them now! All of these fantastic stories in one purchase!? Don’t even hesitate! It’s worth it!The ending Epilouge catches up with the three couples and is a great bonus to where things continued with them. In true Meghan Quinn fashion she makes your heart hurt a little, but totally redeems herself! I loved the bonus insight. The Locker RoomThis story had so much humor. Laugh out loud funny. I love the way Meghan Quinn writes her men, and their friendships. This felt like I was hanging out with my college buddies again. There are so many little things in this story that come full circle and stay as running jokes and themes. I loved this. This story is fantastic, but be prepared to work though the hard stuff. Let me tell you, this one gutted me. It was heartbreaking. I could feel their hurt. One thing I appreciated in this story was the hurt wasn’t glossed over or belittled. It was addressed and argued about. It wasn’t a quick discussion and quick resolution. This felt real. As hard as parts were, it was worth it and worth the wait. It made the ending so much better. Their kind of love, that lasting love, was powerful. My heart feels full! The DugoutCarson is a hero that had a lot of great things come to him, but he also worked really hard to get those things and had to endure some rough times. He was such a good contemporary romance Hero. I loved Milly Potter. She was the best shy girl, breaking out of her shell to get what she wants. I loved her baseball confidence and how much Carson respected that. Carson falling for Milly was so sweet, gooey, perfect. I loved him. I loved them. This book really focused on the game, it’s development, it’s coaching, the processes, the connections. To have a relationship between a couple be built on that love of a sport was pretty cool stuff. Meghan really makes her couples work for the HEA. Wow, this one was rough, but really beautiful. The time, healing, forgiveness on multiple fronts, growth, and love were all needed to achieve the ending in the story. I feel a bit book hungover and a bit whole at the end of this one! I really loved this story. The LineupJason Orson is ridiculous. He’s almost too much, but in the best possible way. I feel like Meghan Quinn said, how far can I take this? He is so hilarious it’s laugh out loud funny. I loved the contrast between Jason and the heroine Dottie who was serious, driven, and buttoned up. I loved that personality traits she found offputting in herself were seen as good qualities in Jason’s eyes. Jason is so sensitive and lovable, in addition to being crazy as heck, that when things fall apart it is easy to be team Jason. However, in true Meghan Quinn fashion she makes you understand from both points of view. The tension during the angsty part, and struggles, was really good in their story. Both characters had to look at themselves and figure out what really mattered. This story was so so good!!

This boxed set is everything!
This boxed set was perfect for me. I’d read The Locker Room a while ago, but when the boxed set came out I picked it up right away. I picked up the audio and absolutely loved it and then switched over to the ebook for the extended epilogue. The extended epilogue had all the adorable friendship moments between these couples and it also made me tear up. I loved it!!!Below are my individual reviews of each book:The Locker Room - 5 starsOk, so, I went into this book sorta like, “oh look, cute, funny NA.” It wasn’t what I’m used to from Meghan Quinn but I was absolutely loving it. Knox is an absolute sweetheart and I couldn’t get enough of him. I loved watching Em and Knox at college. They had such a fun relationship and the sexual tension was perfection.Of course, about 80% in, I was hit with that classic Meghan Quinn trickery. I should expect anything from her about what she put me through with Colby last year, but I wasn’t ready for this. As I watched the time go by I was just like, “wait, wait, wait... what’s going to happen?”That last 20% really put my emotions through the ringer but the pay off was definitely worth it. I’m freaking obsessed with this book and 1000% recommend you read it right now!The Dugout - 4.5 starsHow dare you Meghan Quinn? How dare you play with my heart like this. It’s sad I’m still surprised whenever you break my heart.I love Carson and Milly so freaking much!! I was just happily and naively moving through their story that I failed to see the break coming. I loved how their relationship came about and what it developed into.I don’t really want to get too spoilery here, but, I just want to say that Carson broke my heart in this book, but he also worked hard to put it back together, so I forgive him. This might be my new favorite book in this series. But, this book definitely softened the soft spot I already have for Knox. Also, I want more from Milly’s family. I loved her brothers!!!The Lineup - 5 starsJason Orson is the most ridiculous/adorable hero. I am obsessed with him. He cooks and is famous for his behind and his towel pic; I definitely wouldn’t mind getting me a Jason. He’s such a clown around his friends and while he’s definitely over the top I’m still just completely in love with him.I also love Dottie, she’s serious and closed off but they balance each other so well. I loved watching them open up to each other and build this relationship while she was so reluctant and he was so over eager to make them happen.I flew through this book and can’t wait to keep reading the series!

Love their love
Loved the first book! Knox and Emory are simply the cutest and I kept a smile on the whole two days it took me to read it. Light hearted and easy to follow. Exactly the kind of books I enjoy reading.

What did I just read!?
Ever read a book and snort laughed a bubble out your nose and into your coffee? Then blushed, cringed, teared up, aaaaahed and swooned and then cried?! I just did and spent a lot of that time fanning my face in between to clear the steam…so moral of the story you ask? Just read the series! I am on to book four and utterly love these hot BaseballPlayers and their take no nonsense women!

3 Star Box Set
This box set is packed full of heat (lots of hot and heavy sexy time!), has a lol comedic factor - witty dialogue, cocky sportsmen, has 3 good (and different!) storylines/tropes but I can’t give it more than 3 stars. Why not? Well, because I struggled to connect with and understand a few of the characters, not to mention their actions and decisions. *Spoiler Alert* from here onwards! The first book is about Knox and Emory. They hooked me in from the start, especially Knox - so patient with her, so invested in their relationship. Then Emory makes HER decision, EIGHT years go by, all’s forgiven and they get their HEA. Kudos to Knox because, while forgiveness is preferable to holding a grudge, I would not have been so quick to trust or try again!Second book is Carson and Milly. I loved them both - their quirks, her awkwardness, his cockiness - and I loved how they fell in love with each other. Then tragedy strikes for Carson, he completely shuts out everyone in his grief and, while that is understandable to an extent, the way he treats Milly is awful and I was so disappointed! Knox helps him see clearly again but by the time he approaches Milly again, TWO years have passed, all’s forgiven and they get their HEA.Third book we have Jason and Dottie. I have to say, other than enjoying the updates on the first 2 couples, I did NOT enjoy this book. Jason is ok but I really struggled with his overly dramatic behavior and inner dialogue - it was way over the top and, frankly, hard to fathom sometimes. Dottie I just did not like at all! Yes, she’s experienced bad relationships previously but man, is she an absolute b!tch to Jason from the get go - with the explanation being it’s her “walls” and “barriers”.While the characters and their actions have not impressed me much, I will say that the author has written the stories very well, the editing is good and the witty banter, that makes this a romantic comedy box set, is on point!!

Fantastic set of books if you like sports romance
Three baseball players at college bound to become professionals and make millions. Knox meets Em who really isnt interested she wants to study and the handsome baseball player wants her. She lets him in eventually but she doesnt sleep with him. Just as she starts to think they are something special someone else tells her he has been picked in the draft and he is going. She finished with him, he is going places and long distance wont work. They occasionally email and when she sees him with the gorgeous Mia she knows thats it, its a oh my god moment. He is traded back to Chicago and is furious when he finds out she lives there and goes to see her. After eight years apart he isnt letting her go.Carson is a grumpy guy after his two friends are drafted, he is still at college because he damaged his foot and no one wanted to take the risk. His game is off and it takes Milly to be brave enough to tell him what he is doing wrong. She is a coach of baseball in a mans world. Her brother is a famous player but she keeps that quiet. He cant believe that he finds a woman who knows more about the game than him. She fixes his batting problem and he falls in love.Jason is the lover, he loves to cook and looks after all his team mates. Getting traded back to Chicago is a dream even if he is not playing for his team. Dotttie is the hard headed business woman who always had a thing for him in college but stayed away from him, she could see that he had all the females vying for his attention. They meet and she is snarky with him and it heats him up. She makes a bad decision as part of a business deal that affects their relationship and he walks. Jason has to decide if he can let her leave Chicago for good. For me, the Knox and Em story was just perfect.
