Timex Unisex TW2R101009J Weekender Multicolor Denim Slip-Thru Strap Watch

This is a great watch and works well. It has an easy to read face dial. I own several Weekenders but I wanted this particular watch for the groovy colored strap and the battery on my other watch finally ran down after five years. Shop around because it varies in price and I got hosed. I could have paid ten dollars less. Don’t pay over $30 for this particular watch with the navy blue, light blue, red, orange band. Incidentally I shopped around for a similar nato strap and there’s really nothing like it to be had. It’s very light weight and makes a good Summer watch strap.

I love watches, particularly analog watches. I have a Timex with the same size face, but the band on this one is longer as it’s described as unisex. I like the size of the face and the colors on the band, but I have to fold the band back and tuck it due to its excess length. I make it work, but it it drops the watch to 4 stars for me. It was obvious upon opening that this watch had been returned. Surprisingly, there was no effort by the seller to make it look any better or more secure. Torn plastic covering, watch loose in the box instead of suspended on the plastic frame. Fortunately, the face wasn’t scratched and it did not look like it had been worn.

I love the watch, although I wish I had ordered the smaller watch face. The watch band is pretty flimsy. I have already replaced it with a leather band. Overall, I love Timex watches.

The wrist band, which is colorful . . . I like the colors . . . could be a little thicker (easier to use).

I have owned a Timex since I was a teenager and I keep coming back to Timex. I have expensive watches I wear but I tend to grab this watch when I leave my house.

Pro: elegant, easy to read, bright light. Makes me feel like an adult.Con: I am an ER nurse so the fabric strap was a bad move on my part because it is getting worn out and faded now.All in all, a good friggin’ watch.

Easy to read, comfortable to wear. The strap almost feels too flimsy for the weight of the watch but it works. It does tick quietly. Love it.

This is advertised as a Unisex Watch. Should be listed only under Men's Watches. It isn't just the size (I have women's watches this size), but the weight. It weighs 1.6 oz. vs 1.2 oz. for a similar-sized Timex women's watch. This may not seem like much, but on the wrist, it feels like an anchor. It is also enough that it tears at the nylon wrist band.I was unhappy with the weight, but would not have returned it for that purpose since I could still occasionally use it, heavy as it was. What caused me to return the watch was that it started and stopped at will. It would work fine for five or six hours, then stop for 15 minutes, a half-hour, or even an hour or more, and then start up again. I found this unacceptable since my main criteria for a watch is that it measure time accurately.

This watch is so BIG both of my wrists could have fit in it!The concept is great - changeable watch bands for any occasion. The "unisex" concept doesn't work unless everyone has wrists the size of Goliath. Plus to call this a "weekender" watch is ludicrous - who wants to lug around a watch this big & heavy if you're going hiking or doing other outdoor activities. It was, however, easy to read due to the size. Since it's not usable, there is no value to me, and it definitely was NOT comfortable.It's too bad Timex doesn't make this in smaller sizes & that a size comparison isn't provided (e.g., smaller than a breadbox but bigger than a half dollar). The band length was also problematic.I appreciate the return features Amazon provides. Watch & watch bands returned through my fabulous local UPS store.

The watchband was a little long for my wrist, but that happens with all bands. I am very satisfied overall.

I like Timex Weekender watches. The unisex models fit a larger woman's wrist (~8") well. That would have to be true for an average man's wrist, too. The one negative: because the straps are fabric, they can show dirt from normal wear.

Was a good purchase, the strap is not strong enough, the good thing it is replaceable.

I like the watch but I'm not too enthused with the band. After buying numerous nylon/canvas band watches this one I find uncomfortable. However, it was priced right and I'm glad I purchased it.

Absolutely love it, affordable, well made, really nice watch. You can buy different wrist bands and make it look different every day. Really nice piece for an incredible price. Mine is over a year and never had a problem
