Color stays on fabrics.
Almost impossible to remove from fabrics, one of my garments were almost ruined because of it. Really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

They draw easily and mark well
These are waxy, and I'm not sure they'll wash out, but most of my marking is within the seam margin anyways. They draw easily and mark well.

Clips are awesome
Pencils are easy to use and such a lifesaver! I will notate that the pencils are easy to break in half. Only downside. Not to worry! Just keep peeling the layers and you can reuse both ends. I would definitely buy again.

Useful
These are great for marking fabrics. You can almost write with them like a pencil though my gel washable fabric markers are better for writing. These are useful for markings when gel pens won't do. I have had problems with getting the markings off some denim that I used to draw dart lines on a pair of pants. It's gone through the wash once but the markings are still there. Luckily, it's on the inside of the garment. Hope they come off after a few more washings or else I would need to be careful about using them next time. I also don't like how there's a string to pull down the "shaving" (I don't know what it's called) of the pencil. It doesn't sharpen the pencil which I need to do from time to time. I just a regular pencil sharpener for that. Anyway, the string just gets in the way when I use the pencil so I cut it off.

Cheaper than the expensive water soluble pens that don’t last very long.
Just got these marking pencils yesterday. There are six different colors available depending on your color fabric you’re using. Most of the color comes off with a fast rinse in water. Pretty sure if i washed my fabric more deliberately with soap, all of the pencil markings would disappear. Love them. It beats using a sharpie or the expensive air and water soluble pens that run our faster than fast. Sharpening the pencils are a breeze with the pull down string. Highly recommended IF you are ok with fat lines.

NOT CHALK
Beware. These are not chalk based but wax based pencils. They do fade a bit with water but not that much therefore I do not recommend using them on fabric until you will be covering the marking, such as embroidering over top.
