Works great. Dont have another one to compare accuracy but no problems so far.Still holding up to extreme use conditions. What i mean by this is i dont measure a lot of tires everyday but it rides with me in my pocket i am constantly in on and under around the vehicles. Doing condition report writing for an auction. This gauge takes a beating but has held up just fine. Perfect for the toolbox for sure. Still perfect for the trenches.

Plunger not spring loaded
Plunger not spring loaded so does not work like a snap indicator gage that's why 4 stars. Otherwise very accurate. I had to return because I needed a spring loaded snap indicator gage so I ordered this by mistake.

Useless for tires.
Useless product. Doesn't measure in 32nds and I'm not wasting time converting a reading. Nobody has time to waste on that crap. Buy something else.

This tire tread depth gauge works perfectly and is easy to use.

Tire gage.
Easy to use and the price was right. The base of the gate is slightly bowed due to the plastic being warped. Hope over time that this does not get worse. It would have been better if the base off the gauge was metal. Even thought the measurement of the tread seems to be accurate enough to monitor tread wear.

Easy to use
Works very well and is much easier than the manual ones to quickly read. Would recommend to anyone.

Does not read in fractional 32nds, as most tread wear is measured.
Better to be used as a one inch depth gauge, though.
