Our darling little juvenile cat Evie loves to chew cords. In her first year with us, she chewed like $60-$80 worth of stuff up. My laptop charger cord still technically worked but gave off sparks when I tried to use it. Yikes. I also work remotely so that had to be replaced immediately. She chewed through the cord to my $700 reclining armchair (luckily the warranty had not expired yet and the cord was separable from the chair and therefore very easy to replace... thanks Wayfair!). She chewed through her mom's dvd player cord and the cord to her own water fountain. Although, after the water fountain, we made her drink from a tupperware for a week and she very much seems to understand if she wants fresh, cool water and not tupperware water for peasants, she'd better not chew that particular cord again. Basically, if there's a cord out, she's gonna chew it. We tried foul smelling sprays, hot sauce (I don't think she thinks hot sauce is hot... she treated it like seasoning and chewed faster). We tried saying "No" very firmly, and showing her the cords to express our displeasure. She doesn't care.This mesh? Fantastic. She hasn't chewed ANYTHING since. Every cord that we can't hide or unplug and conceal from her is now wrapped in this stuff. She dislikes the texture greatly. It's too... spongey for her taste. She has now moved on to the heels of my shoes... Again, I work remotely so I'll let that slide for now...

5 stars. This is a great product. I had several soft sleeves with zippers but this beats them hands down. It is very sturdy and flexible, yeah. I know. When you need to make a change or switch out a wire, it is easy to open it, remove the wire and replace it. I love that you can cut it to length which is so incredible important. So, if you didn't want a wire to come out of the split because of the various lengths, then cut another piece and you are good to go.Definitely measure or eyeball all the cables at once, I bought a small circumference which I should have purchased a larger size.

Good value for money. You get a decent length and the stretchy material means that despite the 1/2 inch diameter you can actually fit a fair bit more than a 1/2 inch of cabling in there.I had a couple of different lengths of cable in different locations that needed sheathing and I found this pretty easy to cut through with regular scissors to cut to the lengths I required.Black aesthetic goes well with the rest of my set-up.All round a great product, only slight gripe is that the material is a little bit shiny, not matte as I expected. But this is a very minor issue in the grand scheme. 👍🏼

Great kit for cleaning up wire spaghetti: was able to cut to size and use multiple pieces from a single purchase to eliminate the rat's nest of wires that was visible under my computer desk. I like how wires can be pulled out where necessary (instead of going the full length of the run with rigid cord protectors) and the 1" diameter model was wide and strong enough that long cords could be doubled back through again to fully hide them. I definitely recommend this product.
