The STOKKE TRIPP TRAPP HIGH CHAIR PLAY TRAY is a MUST have
It is a must with the STOKKE Tripp Trapp which is simply "the best ever" and is used for many years. I have used the High Chair for 10 years and recently bought the PLAY TRAY which has proven to be wonderful. It is sturdy, large and easy to clean. It hooks onto the chair well, with no struggle. I am a grandmother and don't know how I survived all those grandchildren without this tray. You and your child, will love it!

Better than Stokke Baby Tray
This tray is much better than the Stokke branch tray. It's larger, fits on more securely, fits more sizes of babies, and is just generally better. I would only buy the baby set if you have a particularly small baby and the straps won't hold him/her. Even still, get this tray rather than the Stokke tray. Our 9 month old son didn't even fit in the baby set (granted, he is very big for his age). The PlayTray fits him perfectly and works well.

Hard to get stains out
This product stains badly. Expect the stains from pasta sauce / other food to remain. No amount of scrubbing gets it out. Stains don't come out even if wiped / cleaned immediately. It looks terrible after a few uses. Poor quality for the price. I had the transparent tray for many years before the ends broke and was generally happy with that. I would stay away from the white colored tray.

Plastic peels.
I too got the peeling plastic.Stokke just started making their own version of it (finally, against their philosophy that the baby should sit with family at the table -- apparently they've never swept 10 pounds of food off the floor following such a feeding) and it is HORRIBLE. $50, is only compatible with newer baby kits, and doesn't even attach well if at all.

I love this tray, except for one minor issue...
I wished for this tray with my first two children, but unfortunately, it wasn't made then. Thank goodness there is a company that makes it now! It is a large, thick, white plastic tray that slides down over the sides of the Tripp Trapp chair (see the pictures I posted). There is a strap (similar to a crotch strap) that connects the front of the tray to one of the bars below the seat, so that the baby can't lift the tray up (and off). The tray is easy to get on and off the chair, and it sits just close enough to my baby's body to keep most of her food from ending up in her lap. Now, for the cons: I have been using this tray for 6 months, and the outside layer of plastic is starting to peel off in places. It looks as if Scotch tape was stuck on for a long time, and then peeled off, leaving a bit of sticky stuff behind. I'm not sure if this is simply due to normal wear, or if it is because I use Clorox wipes on it from time to time. Also, the tray has become a little stained from carrots; but nothing else, including pizza, has been able to stain it.This tray is expensive, but I am very glad I bought it, and I would certainly do so again, even with the peeling issue. It has allowed me to get much more use out of my beloved Tripp Trapp chair.

Stains super easily - carrots did us in
Stains super easily - carrots did us in. Mind as well scoot them up to the table and use a sticky tray. Not worth the $90.
