KidKraft Wooden Children's Toy Storage Unit with Five Plastic Bins - Brights & Espresso, Gift for Ages 3+

It seems like a few people had a problem with this item but I have to say I found it to be great. I had another kids toy storage bin that was very similar just much larger. I needed something small to fit the space I had when I found this. I read the reviews and was a little nervous but I purchased two of them. They arrived in perfect condition. Nothing was scratched or broken. I had absolutely no problems building it. I did both in about 30 min. It was actually more sturdy than the larger one I previously had. I used the bins I already had because I liked the color better. As far as the bins dropping, I had the same problem with the other storage unit. I fix it by buying a small $2 pack of velcro and attaching it to the front of the bin and the front bar. I can detach it if I want but it also doesn't just drop when my son pushes it. I hope that helps someone with that problem. Overall it was exactly what I needed for the space. And I love that my son can see his toys and play with them whenever he wants. And the bonus is that it's super easy for him or me to put the toys back.

Easy to assemble. Small but Perfect for my 2yr old.

Bought this on a lightening deal. This is perfect for my sons room because of its compact size but it holds a lot! Assembly is straightforward. The only con is that some of the screw holes on the ends of the dowels were not centered or drilled all the way so 3 or 4 of the screws were difficult to get in. A power drill would have solved the problem but mine was charging. Hoping this goes on sale again so i can get another for our play room!

I like the look of the darker wood, and the colors of the bins. It is nice for what it’s used for. However, It was very hard to put together. Instructions not very helpful. Bins do not grip the rods very good, so they fall off.

The quality is shoddy, and it’s almost impossible to assemble with the low quality materials provided. Nearly every screw was stripped by the end, causing damage to the “wood” in the process. Bins are extremely flimsy, and I’m sure will be broken by my 5 year old within the month. I would return it, but can’t get it back apart after all of the screws stripped!

My husband and i measured this along with the matvh bookshelf for a wall in our play area. This is NOT the width advertized and is tiny. The bins also fall out whenever you try to take one out. So i ha r to literally take every shelf bin off in order to use one. Stupid design. They dont hook on the bars well either and constantly fall off.
