Q: How strong are they. How much weight roughly to crack 1?

I dont think you could crack one. I have had a set of these as a path to my hot tub through rock for almost 10 years and they are not brittle at all. I bought another set as a path around my garden and they work great. Dudes around 250 to 300 have walked on them and no cracks. Hope this helps.

Q: Are they flexible or solid? Is the exact size 12"x12"? I am looking for something a little smaller than 12x12 to replace table tiles.

The dimensions are 12 x 12. As far as flexibility, they are hard plastic but have a little flex. They are not comparable to ceramic tiles.

Q: Could a garbage can roll on these?

Hi. I'm sure you can. I use them on my patio to help get in and out of the patio door, it's a big drop, so it gives me an extra 1" boost. I have a cart for groceries and I can easily roll the cart over them. If you plan on putting them in your lawn, they'll work great.
