much lighter and cheaply made than I expected
I thought these bottles would be sturdier than they are. They are flimsy and crush easily, although the shape is good.I will go back to recycling old 2qt juice bottles for keeping coffee in my refrigerator.

Not quite as advertised
This is a fluid container. It does do that.The "safety collar" is a bit of a PITA. But it is removable.However.It is advertised as 1/2 gallon (64 ozs.) I used my 64 oz. measuring cup to test the capacity of these containers. It filled all the way to the top of the thread and poured over several ounces. While I would expect that the 64 ounce mark would be hit with a bit of room to spare in the container, I did not expect to fit several ounces less than the 64.

Very cheap flimsy plastic. Wouldn't use them even if they were free.

No Lids
We got this without lids and when I ordered a replacement we got the same product with no lids .

They are just bottles, nothing special about it I think.
Bought it for my sister and she liked them, nothing special to talk about.
