It’s a splash of colour and a classy addition to your kitchen top! Works just as advertised, enamel quality is flawless….handle does not heat up and ergonomic spout handles boiling water safe and sound.The whistle is a bit of a spoiler as its not as shrill as i expected it to be- its more of a hissing sound.

Great tea kettle for a great price. Looks good, performs well. Easy to clean. The whistle is more of a whine than a whistle, but it gets the job done.

Doesn’t whistle loudly and takes getting used to with the latch- hard to push with thumb as others noted as well. But size and appearance are fantastic.

This one is the best of those we've tried. Heavy weight fabrication gives sense of durability. The less than 5 star on "Ergonomic" is the thumb trigger for the spout opener seems reversed until one becomes more familiar with the teapot. However, that spout opener and its mechanism are better made than most others and create a good loud whistle,... which is what I needed (she says)!

After years of searching and failing, I think I've finally found "the one". She works tirelessly in the kitchen all day, she's always there for me when I need her, and she never complains. In fact the only time I hear a peep out of her is when she's heating something up for me in the kitchen and it's ready. I'm in love.

Within one year of purchase the handle on the kettle has largely melted making it useless. BEWARE

Nice looking accent. Nice whistle. Easy opening and closing.

The Cuisinart tea kettle is beautiful in style. After that it it a total failure. The mechanism for opening and closing the spout makes more noise than the whistle that lets you know the water is boiling.

Really nice kettle, very stylish. It was a Christmas present, she loved it.

The kettle is beautiful. I love the shape and the colour. I don't know why people are complaining about the handle because there is a flip button to open the spout, which is extremely easy to use. Another good feature is you can flip the whistle top up and it will stay up if you prefer to boil water without the whistle going off (someone might be still sleeping) The while is quiet and not as piercing as our previous kettle. The only drawback is it's overpriced.

I like the style as it fits our Woodstove to increase humidity.

…it doesn’t whistle. Disappointing for an expensive cuisinart. Maybe it’s a knockoff, used it a couple times so I couldn’t return it. Have to keep an eye on it when it’s done
