I’m so grateful to have found this.My senior Maltese has dementia and loves to walk right along the edges of the bed, couch, and even the pool. It wasn’t an issue when he was younger, but as his condition progressed, he’s been falling off the bed and couch more and more often, sometimes just seconds after I take my eyes off him. These spots were never off-limits for him so I really don’t want to take that comfort away (except for walking alongside the pool). Thankfully, this pillow has helped so much to ease my constant worry.I tuck the pillow around him and it keeps him snug and secure, which makes it much less likely for him to fall.At first, I thought the heartbeat was a little fast and strong so I didn’t use it. But one day I turned it on, and it actually helped him settle down much faster than without it so now it’s part of our nighttime routine.I also use inflatable baby bed bumpers and put thick yoga mats around the bed or couch and those have made a massive difference too.If you have an older pup with mobility or cognitive issues, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s made such a meaningful difference for both of us.

Got this for my 5-year-old golden retriever who’s terrified of fireworks—even with meds. Gave it to her on the afternoon of the 4th & she immediately treated it like her new baby (classic her). The size is perfect for snuggling & it’s super soft.Only thing that tripped me up was the heartbeat—you have to press & hold the button to turn it on & off, which I didn’t realize at first. But once I figured it out, it worked great. She took it to her safe spot & fell asleep with her head on it during the fireworks. The picture is from the next day—still loving it.

I was skeptical about this toy’s ability to calm my 4.5 month old puppy, but it’s been a game changer. We have a 5’ pen we load with toys, chewies, his bed, a licky mat, etc - plus calming music - when we hv to leave for work. Before we got this puppy heartbeat toy, I would be so upset at work watching him on the spy camera cry and howl and not touch his toys or treats the entire time we were gone. Now, I put the toy in with him and turn on the heartbeat and watch him snooze peacefully with the puppy toy in his bed with him, wake up and enjoy his licky mat, etc. I’ve already washed it a couple of times and it comes out like new. I also love that the velcro closure to keep the batteries in seems puppy-proof (he has tried!) - it’s even difficult for me to open, but that’s ok! We’ve had this for a while now and used it for long overnight hours as well and still haven’t needed to change the batteries. And Ps - if I have it “on” when my pup is with me on my bed, it even makes ME want to take a nap - lol! Brilliant toy!!!

So my dog wasn’t a fan at first. He peed on it so i washed it and omgggg this thing sheds so much. I highly recommend washing it in a laundry bag so you don’t have the hair all over the inside of your washer and dryer. Butttt my dog did warm up to the toy and now goes to it for comfort. Especially for naps and bedtime i highkey recommend! And the price is so nice compared to other types of heartbeat toys like this one.

I foster puppies and this last week I had two very anxious puppies that were taken from their mother too soon. This helped calm them and had sleeping for hours through the night. I will use this with every foster puppy going forward. I'm so relieved I found something that will help new pups acclimate.

Got it for new puppy to ease him at night and while he was alone, he loves it. He has been here a couple of months so I removed the piece for the heartbeat because he loves to bring it with him all over the house. I could not hear it sleeping in the bed he was on the floor, it’s very soft for him and I love that the piece that holds batteries comes right out so he can play with the toy and I don’t have to worry about him destroying that part and getting hurt

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a knock off of the original and I have had both. You can definitely tell the difference. This one is flimsy in comparison and the spot to put the batteries can only be accessed with a Phillip's head screwdriver. My 15 pound puppy will likely tear this apart in 2 days. I am only putting it in with her at night.

My puppy loves sleeping with this. I like that it's easy to use and stays on all night. I would give it 5 stars, but it is smaller than some similar products by competitors. Still, it's a good size for a puppy or small dog and I would buy it again.
