Cuts the nails just fine, but just for about 4-5 times. Then it looses its sharpness real fast.

Garbage Clippers
These clippers were absolutely horrible. They just crushed my english setter's nails rather than cutting them, and were obviously causing the dog discomfort. this was my first time purchasing plastic handled clippers, and I will never buy anything other than metal handled ones again. Garbage.

Not for a large dog
These can't cut my GSD's nails. The plastic handles do not have any leverage--they just bend. Totally a waste of money (unless you have a toy poodle).
