Everbuild 506 Universal Contractors PVA, 5 kg

I purchased this for sticking card and paper and it does a good job. The glue is quite viscous, NOT thin and runny which some glues are. The lid is a good fit and is well secured for transit. Some suppliers are not so careful with securing the cap which might lead to spillage. Because this item was well packed and sealed it was safe and arrived in perfect condition.I did need to decant some into a smaller bottle for some small jobs where the smaller bottle is more convenient. This was possible with care but the task was done slowly and on a deep tray to catch any spillage. But is quite practical if you take your time.I made this purchase after checking a number of suppliers and this one was the best value, while the glue is good quality.

I've used maybe just over a third of this but I've opened it today and discovered that it has gone mouldy in under 5 months since purchase! I've poured some of this mould away and it seems a bit watery now. I might have to throw it out. Poor value for money if you can't use it all quickly. I'd expect this to have a shelf life of 1-2 years!

Does the job superbly & plenty left for other jobs. Used it as an elastic stir for stippling ceiling plaster. Gave great adhesion & dried well.

Initially thought it was a great product and value for money if not a bit watery. However, after a few weeks it started to go mouldy on top. I have not added anything to it (only poured it out to use). Really annoying to take the mound off before use each time.
