Levi'sMen's 501 Original Fit Jeans (Also Available in Big & Tall)

Quality is really bad. Material is way too light for Levi jeans, very disappointed Levi has gone this route to sell jeans. I have purchased Kirkland Jeans at Costco that are a heavier denim and would appear to be much more durable. I own some Levis that are 10-15 years old and these new ones made in Pakistan just don't stack up to the older ones. I am 64 years old and worn Levis since the 1960s and afraid Levi has lost a long time customer that appreciated quality and durability.

I always buy the same reference levi's 501 32 32, now the length is different, look in the manufacturer of the above and are made in Mexico, the new one is made in China and the size is different, look at the picture is bad

I bought these after recently buying 5 pair of 501's. These run small, and the denim is not any heavier than the other 5 pair I already own. The only difference is the leather patch in the rear and some heavier stitching on the bottom of the pant legs. I really dont think these are worth practically double the price of what I have been paying.These are NO WAY the same kind of Levi's that I wore as a teenager... I wish they were as good as what is being made in Egypt for Levi's.

I read the extensive negative and positive reviews on Amazon before selecting the color to order. One mentioned that the Tidal Blue was indeed the original fit, color, material, texture, etc of the "old" Levi's 501 jean. WRONG. I was very disappointed in paying a premium for these. Material color was a white and navy dotted mix, the rivets are silver colored rather than original copper, but worst of all are the deep fake wrinkles that are molded into the crotch and thigh area. That may be OK for the younger crowd, but for us old timers who grew up with the stiff, selvage denim 501s of the '60s it just isn't going to do. I gave 3 stars because the jeans are well made, just the style isn't right.

I have been wearing 501s for decades. I don't know what these are. Seams on the front and sides, two different colors of denim stitched together, just the weirdest pair of jeans I have ever seen. I should have known from the price something was fishy about these jeans. The fit was off as well, in comparison with a real pair of 501s I purchased earlier this year. Do not be fooled, these are just horrid.

I like the way the pants was made. But the material is so thin you don't feel like you have Levi's on. And the other 501 Levi's I ordered they're all so thin they're not like they used to be the material used to be thick when you ordered a pair of Levi's I feel like you don't get your money's worth out of no more. I guess because they moved overseas hoping they will all come back to America and make them sick ass Levi's like they used to. American people don't mind paying for good jeans.

Horrible stanch with the pants and Amazon Customer Service for pants that I wanted and needed!!!!Terrible smell that I thought would wash off after the first time; keep in mind that no other pair o Levi’s smelled like that. After washing the black pants three times the smell is fading but still present. I called amazon and the customer service person arranged for a pickup at my home for 11$ to be paid up front! I’m getting tired of Amazons poor product source screening besides arguably false four and five star ratings for inferior products, and may go to Walmart instead!!!!!!!!!!

Like the title says these fit a little different than my older 501s, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as far as I'm concerned. I've been looking for a pair of red jeans in skinny or slim fit and have been unsuccessful so I tried these just to get some red jeans. They fit me pretty good, but as a pleasant surprise and an added bonus, they fit like slim-fits. The fabric's a little thinner than the last pair of 501s I bought 15-20 years ago, and I wonder if these will last as long, however I don't think I'll wear this color anywhere near as often as more traditional color jeans, so those 2 factors may cancel each other out.As far as fit... The fit in the waist is spot-on. The calves are a little tight, however I do have very muscular legs, so the fit may be normal for guys who don't work out as much as I do. They're not too big or too small up-front and for me, they hug my behind a little. Length is as-expected.Overall I'm pretty happy with these so far. Glad I didn't listen to all the negative reviews.

these original 501 in blue or back are not as I expected.the material is thinner.the colours are not as I expected. Choose these carefully.the cut, size, fit and buttons are as 501.

Good value jeans. I thought they would be black but they are dark blue. They were a bit long but that suited me as I turned them up.

You know what you're getting with Levi's and these are genuine 501s, exactly same as the ones I bought about 4 years ago but with that new look and feel. Fast delivery and follow up on customer service. All is good!
