Excellent Light. I bought two, the other needs to be put up tomorrow. I just put the light up so I really don't know how good it will work, but I was in a desperate situation and I do have faith in it to help my lightening needs. We moved and the home I'm in now the light is on the opposite side of the house for indoors plants. I have had Leds with aquariums, so I knew how the light should go pretty much. If put together properly, your light will be stable and you won't have to worry about weight of the bulb or anything else to disturb the light unless you have animals or small children. The light gave my blue/white African violet an amazing look. My air plant is further away for indirect light and my other African Violet is a white with pink variegated blossoms, that plant has been doing well and I think will just continue to do really well now even during winter. I have a a few cactus and one poor Christmas Cactus that really had a rough time here with light. I should have come to the rescue sooner. Will sent things up for tomorrow for the plant. I also have a few more Christmas Cactus coming, someone is moving and is selling them on Ebay, I got a Beautiful Orange one and from Hirts Garden who sells on both Ebay and Amazon I got a gorgeous fushia Christmas Cactus similar to the one that is having a hard time, just in case it does die. Hirts Garden is reputable, I have a clementine tree through him that is about 5 years old. so the grow light will be really a blessing. I may need to cut back the time. I have it on for 10 total hours at night. I do get some light during the day, just not a lot or direct light. Can't wait to see how the plants do. Plants help with my Depression. Nothing like new Green Growth and Flowers to spring you back to life after days of it.

The light bulb was delivered very timely and I am very pleased with the grow light and would have rated it a 5 but the free clamp reflector is of poor quality and not strong enough to support the weight of the grow light. The clamp is too short making it difficult or even impossible to clamp it to a window sill or other framing. Because the bulb is too heavy for the clamp I am afraid one day it will come tumbling down and the bulb of course will crash....investment in a good bulb lost! I hope this helps someone contemplating buying this setup.Wanda S

Light worked well and doesn't put off a ton of visible light. Gives off a soft purple light almost like a night light. I hooked mine up to a timer so my plants would get 9 hours direct light but it don't think it was powerful enough. I had it directly over a tiny cinnamon tree and a tomato seedling. Both were fertilized. After about two weeks they were just not growing. After a couple of months I finally gave up. I tried a few things with not change.Maybe somebody with more indoor container growing experience will do better. I am not totally ruling out any mistakes on my part.

Fantastic product!! This LED grow light makes it simple and easy to grow plants and herbs indoors. The light requires some minor assembly to attach the light and clamp reflector but the instructions are very clear and make the process a lot easier. The light has great benefits because LEDs do not get as hot as regular light bulbs and also save energy which will result in a lower electricity bill. The price is very affordable and reasonable for the quality product that you are getting. This light has multiple colors which ensures that the plants get all of the light they need. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would certainly recommend this LED grow light to anyone who might be interested.

Light seems just as advertised. Yet we won't be putting this to any real use until pre-spring planting in February here in TX. The reason for the 4 rather than 5 star rating is the flimsy feel the clamp has to the lamp reflector housing. The connection is made with a knurled screw and doesn't give me a confident feeling about its solid holding power nor longevity. I'll update this review after more usage in April-May 20176.

When I purchased this set, light and clamp reflector, I also order another clamp light. The one that come in this set has to be put together. Prctures with instructions were too tiny to see the detail. The other clamp light I ordered was already assembled. I used the assembled one as a guide to put the one in this set together. I liked the already assembled one better. It seemed sturdier and the wing nut was tight on the assembled one. If I had to buy again, I get the one already assembled and buy the light separately. Light was good. Fast delivery.

I love this light! I bought very expensive tropical plant and winter time was just killing it. Once I got light going my plant began to thrive! Easy set up, great cover that stays nice and cool and powerful light. The only thing I disliked is the clip, it's a bit hard to open and close but that's better than weak and wobbly ones. Customer service are also great, they emailed with follow up to make sure I am satisfied with product.

The lamp and the diffuser is fine, but the clamp is useless. The bulb is heavy and with the diffuser, too much for the clamp to handle. I bought this set because it has a clamp that I wanted to attach to a shelving unit, but it fell down immediately. I can't hang it since I live in an apartment and can't put a hole in the ceiling, so now I have to find some other way to clamp it. I would return it, but I have already planted my seeds, and need the grow light.
