I make my own advent calendars for my mom and son. So after buying this, I split it up between the two of them—and saved a couple for me! They are of excellent quality. Fun and festive. My only suggestion is that the order of puzzle images on the back cover does not correspond to the advent day. So there's no way to know which image you're trying to duplicate. I took the time to examine each pre-wrapped bag to find key pieces which corresponded to the back cover images so I could include the appropriate image with the corresponding puzzle pack. I enjoy figuring out minutia—most people would, understandably, not. So just keep that in mind...depending on the recipient, it might not be an issue. It's an important point, though, for my 80-something mom. She likes to know what she's aiming for!

I gifted this to my sister and recently put a few together with her. The illustrations are what drew me in and they are as adorable in real life as I'd hoped. The puzzles are straightforward to put together and the whole package made a great advent calendar. Would recommend.

This was unexpectedly fun. Great idea. Not too easy for adults, not too hard. I looked forward to each day so I could do one for that day.

I was trying to find an advent-type calendar to do with my kids over the holidays that wasn’t just another source for candy. We make enough of that ourselves that I didn’t need any more. Enter this set of puzzles. The box it comes in is cute, but it would be nice if the plastic bags the puzzles come in individually were resealable. Since it’s a thin cardboard enclosure, it’s pretty difficult (if not impossible) to get them back inside. All the pieces were there, but we did get one broken one. It happens. It was a great activity to do together for 15-20 minutes a day and my kids (8 and 9) wanted to make sure we could do them again next year. So overall cute design and nice puzzles, but I wish there was a better way to store them for repeat play over the years.

Galison quality! I love that it comes with a small poster of the puzzle which I feel every puzzle would come with. Beautiful and will be a great Christmas puzzle!

This thing is SO cute! I'm obsessed and I hope Galison makes a new one with Louis Cunningham every year!The one down side is it's impossible to get the puzzles out without ripping some of the sides because they're crammed in there good. And now that it's done I want to store it for next year and there's no good way to do it... maybe something to think about for next year!

A fun, holiday advent calendar – featuring 12 mini puzzles! Each puzzle is packaged nicely, with minimal puzzle dust. All of the pieces seemed to fit together nicely. And all of the graphics were clear, perfect for the holiday season!The only downside: as another reviewer mentioned, the images shown on the box and included in the insert were displayed in chronological order, taking away from the element of surprise – which, in my opinion, seems a bit counterintuitive to an advent calendar. That said, it really wasn’t much of an issue, and to counteract this, we simply pieced the puzzles together without looking at the images. Even without a reference guide, each puzzle took no longer than 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Overall, a fun activity for the family!

Adventskalender kam prima bei den Beschenkten an. Beschenkt wurden Senioren, die sich sehr über die Tagesaufgabe in der Adventszeit gefreut haben. Ich habe die 12 Puzzletütchen mit 12 anderen Adventsgeschenken kombiniert. Die Puzzle kamen super an, waren das Highlight des Kalenders. Die Bildchen sind schön, überhaupt nicht kitschig.Schnellere Lieferung als angekündigt - bis super zufrieden und kann diesen Adventskalender nur weiterempfehlen.

My daughter and I really enjoyed doing the mini jigsaws. The pictures are bright and colourful. The only disappointment was that one of the jigsaws was duplicated so we missed out on one of the pictures. Also, there was a loose piece in the box that wasn’t ours so someone else must have been missing it.
