It will work, but it is poorly made.
On camera, this will look like the picture. However when you look closely, you can see hot glue strings and damages in the fabric. I bought this for my small baby to wear, and it will work fine. If I were to put this on my dog, it would be torn up in minutes.

Cute but pricey
Ordered a small for an average sized female Boston terrier and it’s too small. We will make it work by stitching the donut to her fall sweater we use for walks.The price is too expensive for the size and quality.I wouldn’t purchase again.
