I tried to use pea gravel as my bottom layer in the pot but didn’t love the results. The houseplant smart gravel is perfect! It’s lightweight and perfectly sized for drainage/not plug drain holes. The pea gravel was too small, very heavy when wet and kept falling out of my drainage holes. Also a great company with lots of resources to help you along the way.

I loved this. It was super helpful for my potted plants and I saw it really made a difference. I remember when I received it in the mail I was shocked at the size. I would love to buy some more help a gal out with lowering the price!

I liked the color and weight. However, the price was way too high. I suggest mixing them with your standard pebbles and rocks to get decent value for your money.

I used this to plant my monstera and put a layer on the bottom before I put my soil and my plant is so happy! No more yellow leaves and I’m not afraid if I am overwatering or not. I also love that I am not hurting the environment!
