We have renovated pretty much the whole of our bungalow in 10 weeks and wanted a quick fix for splashbacks that would last a year or so as we were undecided on what we wanted. Having put them on, they look pretty good (the colours you can see, particularly just above the cooker is reflection from the kitchen window, not the product), if I'm honest they look better than I thought they would be. It took us a few hours to put them on and if I can give any advice it is to make sure the wall is absolutely flat as even tiny imperfections will show up. We put them onto new plaster so we have got a few small lumps and bumps showing. Also, I'm not sure if it was because it was new plaster that had been painted, but re-positioning the tiles wasn't easy as they took the paint off the wall and so lost the adhesion. Also we were very careful not to peel away too quickly as we didn't want to peel off any paint that would be above the tile as it doesn't look as though the tiles would take masking tape on them to get that straight line for re-painting. Another small mistake we made was to take our second row directly on top of the grout line of the first row - ending up in the middle grout line being thicker than the rest. But hey ho, nobody will die from this and on the whole we are really pleased with the outcome! PS - use a super sharp pair of scissors rather than a stanley knife - much easier.

The tiles were delivered promptly and as ordered. Each pack contains 12 sheets, each sheet has 3 rows of tiles. The fact there is an odd number of rows means the sheets do not easily interlock and required me to do the first row from left to right, and then start the second row on the other end of the wall and work right to left, this is not what the instructions tell you to do but was necessary. This is problematic when trying to get the edges of the wall lined up perfectly and could be resolved if the tiles were designed with an even number of rows. That is my biggest gripe about the tiles and the reason I could bot give them 5 stars. The tiles are relatively easy to apply if you have correctly prepared the wall. You need to ensure that you get the first tile perfectly level as that will be your guide for the next. Pay extra attention to pushing out the air bubbles as you apply the tile as these are very noticeable otherwise. Try to get it right first time so you dont have to remove the tile as taking them off ripped the paint from the wall and left an uneven surface. One of the tiles had an imperfect finish to it, which I failed to notice until I had completed the wall, this is really annoying as I cannot now easily remove the tile to replace it. I used two packets of tiles to cover the area in the photos, I wasted two sheets by making mistakes and had about one sheets worth of off cuts left over. Overall I am happy with the product and the end result, they are cost effective and easier to apply than real tiles.

My wife is now extreamly happy, it was a little difficult sometimes like going around corners, but it was well worth it the finish ia just great.

I used this product to modernize an old, multicolored tiled backsplash in the kitchen. Adhesion to tiles is phenomenal!!

Hmm, I found these quite frustrating tbh. The backing is a nightmare to remove, especially with short nails! The tiles don’t stick well on regular tiles. I guess they’d be great on other subway tiles, but I used them on 4x4 inch tiles, and the grouting lines are visible. They do not want to stick over the previous grouting lines, and I have resorted to double sided tape, and some glue in some places!Also, the tiles have a gel/sticky surface, so EVERY piece of fluff and dust sticks to them. They look ok from a distance, and for a quick makeover, but I wouldn’t use them again.

Re Ordered more Cherry red. They were a totally different shade to the previous order.

The tiles are a great idea. Abit finnicky to put on to perfection but even if it's not the greatest work from a distance it still makes the kitchen pop. Great alternative in a rental or a seasonal change. Would buy again but needed two packs for this job , could be alot cheaper.
