I started using it for plain drinking water. It’s a really pleasant way to hydrate when compared to sipping from a cup, glugging down a bottle or using a normal sized straw. Just a great stream of water

I like the glass straws, the wider (Boba) straw allows me to drink easier than with a thin straw. I put the slanted end into the liquid and then, when the straw is against the bottom of the cup, I can still suck up liquid.I found that Silicone straws didn't clean as well as I wanted, These are much easier to clean, they are also not fragile. I have dropped them on the counter and had one get knocked out of the drain and they didn't chip or break.

Amazing. The glass is thick so not super fragile. They didn’t arrive broken at all and were well packaged. Came with two straw brush cleaners which is very convenient.

I'm so happy with this purchase! These straws are made out of sturdy glass, they are so smooth to touch and to put to your lips, and they are fun watching boba go up them being crytal clear!You'll see many other straws for sale that are plastic. I'm trying to make better choices for the environment and our planet. Glass seems to be the way to go! And, i didn't honestly need 50 or 100 straws. 4 is perfect for my household (and the number of us who would drink boba at any one time).The angle on the bottom makes sucking up the boba so much easier. You don't get the vacuum effect. You can also use them like a little spoon.These 4 straws come with 2 cleaning brushes that work well. Best part of cleaning them is that you can see if they are clean or not!

The glass is pretty moderately thick and I don't think it would crack/break from accidentally hitting it on something while cleaning or putting them away, but I don't think they'd survive if they were dropped on a hard surface from standing height.Putting them in the utensil area of the dishwasher, they came out clean for me after using them for smoothies and blended soups. I haven't had to use the pipe cleaners included with it, but usually if I'm concerned something is going to get caked on the insides, I try to flush it out with a bit of water real quick before putting them in the dishwasher.

I have a tremor, making it difficult to eat soups the usual way with a spoon, impossible if the soup is mostly broth.I have used a variety of straws with soups with widely varying degrees of success or failure.A common problem if the soup has a lot of solids is the straw clogging and I have to blow the clog out.Glass straws, like this seem best for soup as they conduct heat slower.This is the largest diameter glass straw I have found and testing it with clam chowder and some other soups with significant amounts of solids it is the first straw I have used that has NEVER clogged!The angled tip is also a big help in cleaning the last bits of soup from the bottom of the bowl.Sometimes the drawstrings on the carrying bag are threaded incorrectly.Those bags with this error are practically unusable.

Very cool item. We use it often. Unfortunately I already broke one. It broke to many very small and sharp pieces of glass . Was totally my fault. One needs to be very careful as it is really fragile. Other than that I like the product.
