Very soft & super warm
For reference: I'm 5'7, 140 lbs., 4/6 in jeans.I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and WARM these legwarmers are. They're not itchy on my bare legs AT ALL, they stay up nicely, they're well made /sturdy and very, very warm.If I had thinner thighs I could've pulled them up higher, but they were causing thigh muffin top, so I folded them down just over my knees.I'm not sure how high these would go on plus-sized folks; I'm confident they'd go over most calves, but after that? Probably not much higher.I think they could look pretty cute/sexy with shorts or a short skirt for going out, or a babydoll nightie, your guy's button up shirt or oversized hoodie or your favorite team (Saints!) jersey if you're staying in.I often rely on reviews to help me decide what to buy, so I try to write informative reviews. If you think this was helpful, please let me know by clicking "yes" below. Thanks & happy shopping!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WASH THESE BEFORE WEARING!
I loved them so much. They were warm and soft...THEN...I GOT A HORRIBLE RASH! I had to go to the doctor and have been using a prescription steroid cream for 10 days so far to cure the rash that goes from my ankles to knees. The doctor said it was most likely a chemical on the leg warmers. Nothing else had changed and I was wearing them on bare legs almost every day for about two weeks before the issue began. Gross!

Very pleased
They are LONG and very well made. They will keep you WARM. They have STRETCH to them so they will fit over larger calves. My calves are 15.5" and I have no problem slipping into these leg warmers. The tops seem small, but then they stretch and voila! They are comfortable to wear.I bought these leg warmers on a whim and am glad I did. They're very nice. And they really do keep your legs warm. They're thick but not too thick. They are what you'd think a leg warmer should be.Recommended? YES.

Too tight for adult use
I bought these to wear to and from the yoga studio but they are much too small to wear over the knee. The band is tight. Ouch. They were even a little too tight for me under my knee. The quality is fine but I don’t know who can wear these besides maybe a small child or wear them on your arms?? I’m 5’5” and about 125 so I’m average in size. I don’t know their circumference but I have skinny calves and small to average thighs, for reference. I’m returning them.

Worthwhile
Initially, I thought that the product fell short of expectations, because I seem to have misunderstood what "From natural cotton upgrade to artificial wool..." meant. I expected a wool-like cotton material. Instead the material is synthetic. Also, I expected a little cuff at both ends of each piece. After some scrutiny of the product description and images, I decided that the product was not mis-represented.Here's the scoop, then: For me the length is great, that is - nice and long, and neither too slim nor too wide (I am about 5ft 6inches tall, maybe 112 lb). The feel is soft and inviting and yet seemingly durable.I am saving these leg warmers for being out and about, as I have a very old hand-me-down pair of wool leg warmers for home use. Right now, If I could, I would order a second pair for home use, just because they fit nicely and feel good! But I will refrain for the moment, as Christmas is a'coming and buckaroos need to be spent for that. (Oh - and more color options would be nice. Black is favorite. White is out. Pink is alright.)And: Packaging of the leg warmers was very nice. The Kayhoma card that was included was both professional and fun.
