This was actually just a little too small for the hole in the bell crank on my 2001 gti. I smeared permitex black adhesive silicone around it and it seems to be holding. I've got a dieselgeek bushing in my other car, that one pressed in nicely. This one is kind of a cheap "knock off" of the dg part but it'll fix your problem cheap and quick

Cracked upon install

I liked the price but the bushing cracked first time out. Cheap plastic cant handle the tension a shifter puts out. Get the dieael geek one.
