I really like these for pasta! Nice rustic shape, nice glaze!

I like things that are aesthetically pleasing, handmade, somewhat irregular - different from the usual. These fit into that category. I haven't had anyone over to eat out of them, but I would expect compliments if I had. These are somewhat fragile, and I don't have a dishwasher, so I can't speak to their durability there. Just don't knock them around, or lose your grip washing them. They're capacious, and definitely not your mother's idea of a bowl - unless your mom is an artist with a bohemian bent. These suit my personality.

Was looking for a nice pasta bowl and these are funky and sturdy enough that they have become our main go-to dishes. Love the rugged, artsy yet hip look!

I received broken items

These are charming, quirky bowls. I already have quite a few pieces from the roro brand and I've been very happy with them -- they are well made with a vintage, hand-made look. Some reviewers mentioned receiving bowls with even rims, but the bowls I received have an irregular scalloped rim. In addition, the shape and size of each is slightly different, so these would be great for a casual table. The speckled finish is also unique to each piece. The bowls feel smooth and the glaze has a nice gloss. The bottoms are left unglazed. These bowls are the perfect size for pasta or a large salad, but of course they would work well for just about any type of food, and they would be nice as serving bowls, too. They are fairly thick and have a substantial feel. They work well with either the black or white dishes I have from roro or I can mix & match them with other dinnerware. The current price of $21.50 seems reasonable for these versatile, hand-crafted bowls. The bowls were very well packaged in a sturdy box and arrived intact.

Only have two and want to purchase more. I use them for everything. I have the plates too!

J adore mes bols et mes assiettes roro. Elle sont superbes. J ai fait l'achat de 2 bols blancs et 2 assiettes blanches. J ai le goût de faire la même chose avec les noirs. Mais à ma grande surprise y a juste les assiettes noirs. Y a pas les bols noirs. Et que j aimerais donc savoir pourquoi?!?!?!
