California Costumes Crusader Shield and Sword

My daughter (8) wanted to be a knight to a friend's medieval party. So, we grabbed a costume from our favorite shopping store (it really is Amazon), and this sword shield.I have to say I was entirely surprised by what a great accessory this was! Both sword and shield are sturdy, hard-shelled plastic. This means they feel really solid as opposed to the more flimsy accessories that some of the other kids at the party had. The design actually looks really cool, and the shield handles (which are cloth, but sturdy) can be used to sling whole thing onto your back (truly knight-style!). Plus, being able to sheath the sword into the shield itself made for a handy carrying case and was itself a very cool idea.I can't say enough good things about it. Probably this would be the right size for anywhere between a 5 year old to maybe a smaller 11yo; after that it might not be quite large enough. Very pleasantly surprised!!

This item looks great and the cost is wonderful. I like it very much because it is made out of plastic unlike other shields that are made of foam and don’t last too long I also like the fact that the sword is attached, so you don’t have to go looking around for the sword. Quick delivery as well.

My 12 year old son uses this with his Templar Knight costume. He really likes it and it's cool that the sword actually fits into the shield. I only gave it 4 stars because the straps on the back keep coming out of the screws fastening them on. I am going to have to do some replacement or repairs to them so he can continue. Otherwise, it has held up well, and looks really cool. He likes it lots.

This is a great sword and shield. My son loved it so much that my daughter wanted one too. They love with them and play with them a ton. Great detail and very sturdy. The arm loops on the shield are strong velcro and have held up well. I love that the sword fits into the shield when not in use.

I ordered this for my son as a Christmas gift to go along with his knights costume. This looks realistic and has been stepped on, banged around, won a fierce fight with a cardboard box and it is still as good as new.

The item is exactly as portrayed. It arrived much quicker than the expected delivery date, which was great since Halloween is coming quickly. It was shipped directly from Oriental Trading so you might be able to order direct and avoid shipping fees.My son is extremely pleased with the item.
