A little expensive but you get what you pay for I am pleased with this product

My Premier/Watts RO drinking water has been spewing water out of the air gap hole behind/back of the RO faucet after I added the permeate pump(more force). There is water on the countertop all the time. Connecting the RO waste water line to this dual air gap made the problem go away. Less noise too. The RO line(1/4") seems to run from the bottom connection all the way to the top of the air gap. When I used the dishwasher and RO at the same time, there was no over flowing of water. I was worried that having 2 pipes may cause the dishwasher water to overflow out the air gap. But so far its not. I have until January(return window) to see if any issues arise.The negative here is the cover. Company is too greedy! Making customers pay for 2 covers if you need a different color to match your other fixture.. They could have easily given you the option to chose the color you want instead of buying an extra one you will never use. It even cost more ($35 vs $31)than the unit itself that came with chrome cover. Plain Greed on their side. Thinking of just spray painting it- $8.

I’m in the middle of a kitchen renovation and ordered a dual-drawer dishwasher that comes with a y-adapter to allow both drawers to drain into my old single-unit air gap, but it’s a clumsy solution that overcrowds the cabinet under my sink and is prone to leaks. Even the manufacturer suggests using a dual air gap, so I bought this one. It’s simple, takes up little room, and comes with a little plug that allows me to use only one side of the air gap while I wait for my new dishwasher to arrive. A nice, elegant solution that no one will ever know about except you, every time you reach under your sink and aren’t confronted by an octopus of hoses.

Definitely a specialty item, only slightly longer than a standard one. Cost 2x to 3x more. Will make job easier.

I liked the product, but it is way overpriced. If I receive a no-bs reply from the manufacturer or the dealer explaining the exorbitant price then I will give 5 stars.
